Great Scooter, Needs instructions for Bluetooth
The media could not be loaded. *Update 9/14/2023**After a lot of back and forth with customer service I finally got an answer that worked in regards to get the app working with the scooter. If you've been struggling to connect the app to your scooter you are going to need to factory reset your scooter. Be advised that doing so will also reset the odometer so if you care about that I'd record it somewhere before proceeding. I've attached the video customer service sent showing how to reset the scooter, but it is all in a language I can't understand so to help I'll include written instructions below.1. Turn on the scooter2. Simultaneously hold the right brake, the throttle, and the power button. The scooter will beep and the display will change and show 0000.3. Next you are going to input the code 7410. Pressing the throttle will increase the number, the brake will decrease. Pressing the power button briefly will move the cursor.4. When you've finished inputting 7410, press and hold the power button until the scooter beeps and the display begins to flash. Let the scooter do it's thing and it'll eventually return to the standard display.5. Open up the Tuya app on your phone and click the plus sign in the upper right corner to add a device. The scooter should pop right up. If it doesn't you may need to turn the scooter off then on again. So far the app has been pretty handy. It helps a lot in changing settings quickly rather than having to press the power button a certain amount of times to change stuff. It also allows you to get an estimated range on the scooter which is the primary reason I wanted the app to work. I'm pretty happy now, so I'm bumping the star rating to 5 stars. It took a while but eventually customer service was helpful, so I appreciate the effort they made in looking into the issue.*Update 8/23/2023**I've had the scooter for a week now and still cannot figure out how to turn on Bluetooth so I can connect to the app. I've reached out to customer service, asked questions on Amazon, researched all over Google and can't find anything. So far all the responses from the manufacturer are just copied and pasted instructions from random products that most definitely aren't this scooter. I love the scooter, but am super annoyed by the lack of proper help from Pyle. Dropping the star rating on this until I can get a proper answer on how to set up the Bluetooth features.8/14/2023Just got this scooter and so far I'm pretty happy with it. It looks amazing and it feels great. It is pretty fast and a smooth ride. As a 6 ft 2 in and 275 lbs man I needed a scooter that would be able to handle my size and so far I'm pretty impressed. It seems pretty sturdy and I was able to get it up to 20 mph on flat terrain pretty quickly. I've only taken it for short rides on flat ground so far, so I don't really know how well it'll handle hills and what kind of range it has. I'll be sure to update my review as time goes on.

60 Miles In...Excellent Machine, Great Customer Service
Ok...so, I wanted to wait to give some honest feedback. I came in with worries..and my worries were unfounded. Background info on me 6'2, 290 pounds plus bag with clothes or a computer. So..over 300 when dressed and heading out. Here are my key areasSpeed:Comes with three settings. Three levels..three top speeds. This is great when my daughter wants to ride. I drop it in the lowest setting and she can't go as fast. For me, I only know the top speed. Says it can go 20..it goes 20. Enough said...I am happy. 5 stars for speedPower: This goes up hills. Really steep (and I mean steep hills) I need to get some momentum. But it will go up hill although it doesn't go full speed. But I am a big boy..so you know what...5 starsBattery Charge: I only know top speed..so let's be honest...it would probably last longer if I wasn't so big and demanding it go top speed. But I can make multiple trips to work and the gym..so I bet I get more than 10 miles in..basically saying I use it everyday but don't recharge everyday. Again..for a guy my size and size...5 stars.Cost: Best price for a big man city scooter. No..I am not going off road but I did not want that. So for what I wanted an urban scotter that call a big person around.....5 stars.Customer Service: This was my worry that I was buying something that wouldn't have support. Customer support has been excellent. I was impressed. Thanks Denise! Answered my questions.App: There is an app to "lock" the Scooter. I don't use it because frankly my luck is that I will lock myself out. I got a good chain and keep it indoors at night. However, customer service could help you set it up. For me, that "is a nice to have" that I don't use so I won't rate it because I don't use it.All in all, this is the best scooter considering capability and cost. Its light enough to pick it up and move it and comfortable enough to ride.I spent a year watching and reviewing and I will buy another.Add in....my scooter came with a free helmet. That was the cherry on top.I love my Hurtle and I will buy again. They won a loyal customer.
