Love this stuff. Much better than other brands
Used this stuff to protect carpets from grubby feet while moving house, from paint when decorating, and used for keeping cables tidy and safe. This last use case needs explanation- when I’m doing PA work, we frequently need to run cables across the floor. This creates a trip hazard. Covering the cables will this stuff makes them stand out (it’s yellow!) sticks them to the floor and keeps them in place, making them so much safer and removing the trip hazard. This is 100% better than duct tape, and while the tack isn’t huge, it’s more than enough to keep it in place, and doesn’t rip off paint or plaster when removed. This specific brand has better’stick’ than others own brands, which in my experience tend to lift away from carpet with any kind of pile to them. I buy the big rolls, simply because it’s so useful. It’s about 3ft wide, and length is determined by the roll size.

Works perfectly well
Second time purchasing. So easy to use. Place on carpet and roll while its down then smooth over. Protects catpet perfectly..not as sticky as the last one i bought but still great. Decently thick, you have to apply pressure to rip it. Easy to wipe clean or hoover.

Amazing stuff! Just buy it absolute game changer
Absolutely blown away with this stuff. It's not cheap but FAR CHEAPER then replacing carpets or carpet washing. Sticks really well and is thick and strong. Withheld a ladder being moved around on It and me and I'm no slim chicken. Top tip: Push it right under the edges If you can and then use a frog tape onto of edges to get a lovely clean line. Done my stairs and sensory space with it. Carpet has not 1 mark ! Even the edges are paint free at the skirts . I'm definitely buying more to use on other rooms . Used 1 roll on stairs hall landing and back room 12ftx12ft. Still some on the roll

Perfect once you practice laying it
It a good product but too expensive for large rooms per metre. Once you practice how to lay it, the process becomes easier and before long you can attached and unroll along hallways and down the stairs. For my rooms it proved expensive compared to the last time I purchased it. However wiping up water splashes, paint spills and other debris is easy. I laid it and had to have it down for quite a while between jobs - it pulled up easily and the carpet underneath was perfectly clean and unmarked after re-plastering.

Protects carpets during renovation
We had an entire upstairs to renovate - scrape wallpaper off many walls & ceilings, a bit of plastering, lots of filling, sanding, base coating, painting. There would have been no way to save our carpets if it wasn’t for this. It’s infinitely better than a flimsy dustsheet, especially on stairs that turn at the ends, very non slip and durable, and removed nicely even if we left it down for 3-4 weeks (when they say you you should remove it sooner). No residue whatsoever, everything stayed in place, and the foil was just as easy to install as it was to remove. We bought the 25m one first, fell in love, then bought this bigger roll so we can finish the job. I have recommended this to everyone I know, and we’ll be buying the hard floors version when we start working on the kitchen, to protect the laminate.

Put down carefully it is excellent
This is great stuff. Being yellow it is easy to see where to walk for contractors and what isn't protected. It is tacky enough to hold down on carpet but that means it can be easily removed but also care is needed to put it down in the first place. The best way is for two people to do it: one to hold the roll the other to hold both sides of the free end and press it down to the carpet. This is especially helpful on stairs. We have a staircase with a half landing which we successfully covered using this technique. A couple of points worth noting: it works better if you overlap a good way when putting a new bit down as it sticks to itself well and you need something appropriate to cut it. (we used a Stanley knife on the film held up under tension). It is a bad idea to let it hang freely as, like any cling film type it will tend to tangle up and stick to itself.

Great addition
We do a lot of work in private homes and premises, so this is absolutely essential for us. It stick to the carpet well and stay for a long time, although make sure you will not leave for more then is recommended as will struggle to take it off. Also it's not suitable for wool carpets or more natural carpets as it sticks really well and it might just damage it while removing it. Worth to mention that it only work on carpets and definitely not on any type of hard floor such as tiles or wood panels as it will leave mark and it's really hard to remove afterwards. Tip: try to retain inner plastic and cover the tool after use, otherwise everything will stick to it and small amount will go to waste next time you plan to use it.

Perfect when puppy training
Great stuff, very sticky, I wasn’t worried about laying it perfectly, just to protect carpet whilst training puppy. Did the job perfectly, really a good buy. Dogs walk on it easily, no issues. I’m not sure I’d be able to do a professional job with it when it overlaps and when cutting it and I haven’t tried pulling it up yet
