best online price anywhere for this high quality Torque Wrench.
The Precision Instruments torque wrench is the top of the line in quality and the Amazon price was the best price of any distributors. . Precision Instruments appears to be the actual maker of Snap-ON, Proto, Mac and many other branded torque wrenches who then sell as their own, although Precision won't admit it publicly..The click split beam construction vs. more common spring scale design means you never have to reset or offload tension after using. . . set it and forget it. . . Four foot overall length makes it easy to tighten those high torque fasteners.

Worked Great & Easy to Use
This wrench is rugged and works well. I was using for only 320 lb-ft max torque -- less than the 600 lb-ft max torque. It is very easy to adjust torque setting, and its nice to Not have to unscrew the adjustment back to 0 when done. This wrench can be used to set torque levels in either CW or CCW directions by rotating the handle relative to the socket head to one of two pre-defined positions.

Heavy duty unit, strong storage case, transportable. Great value.
This torque wrench is a 4 piece unit, packed up nice & neat in a heavy built plastic case w/handle and actual metal clasps to keep it closed! Contents: 3/4” drive head, insert bar, main body, and handle/torque mechanism, instruction sheet, certification papers. Dial type torque wrench that doesn’t need to be brough back to zero before storage, marked in 10 lb increments. Geared head rachet is reversible, but user must turn main body 180* when changing direction of torque. Gear head can be used as a rachet alone with proper handle (not included) attached to loosen or tighten bolts, just not with the supplied torque handle and torque body parts. (That’s called stupidity when you use a torque wrench as a regular rachet). Heavy, well made, snug fitting parts. Nothing cheap or light weight about it. Great price for a certified 3/4” drive torque wrench. Bought mine for checking torque of lug nuts on my motorhome, 450 ft lbs, and installing new trailing arms on it, 550 lbs. Charging friends & fellow RV’s $ to check their nuts. Safety first, you know!

GREAT TOOL
I bought this as it was much needed in my line of work being a mechanic on heavy equipment. This is a good brand tool and it is made in the USA (another reason to buy it). It can be found on any tool truck (SnapOn, MAC, Matco, Cornwell) but at a bit higher cost. I have the 1/4” , 3/8”, and 1/2” drive wrenches in the same brand and they have held up great. I did but those through my local tool truck rep. though.I definitely recommend it.

Defective after only 3 months of use and no one will stand behind this product
After using for only 3 months, this torque wrench is defective. The problems began when it would not click when reaching your desired torque setting, no matter how high or low that setting was. This caused us to over-torque and damage critical safety related components that we were installing in situations where proper torque is of the utmost importance. This was not a calibration issue because it quickly progressed to the gears in the head stripping, and now the wrench is completely useless. I contacted Amazon about the warranty of this product, and they were of little to no help. They suggested that I email the company that makes the wrench. No luck there! Been waiting over two weeks for a response and have heard nothing. I guess there is no warranty? We are now the proud owners of a $400.00, 3 month old, useless chunk of steel. Zero customer service! Steer clear of this product.
