This a very durable whistle. It is very light weight. The sound is very dark compared to most referee whistles, but it is still very loud. The downside with the darker sound is that it doesn't project as much. Also, in order for this to achieve its full potential, you need to blow it correctly. There are videos on YouTube you can watch. If you don't blow it correctly, you will just tire yourself out trying to make it loud. Overall, I think this is a good value for the money.
