This is my third identical cup- (only one that is now 8 years old has ‘died’ & even that one it is only the lid that I’ve also ordered a replacement on) They’re pretty much leak proof, great thermal efficiency for its size means as a mum of toddler & babymy tea doesn’t go cold during the 3 hours it takes me to have the time to finally finish a cup... and safety bonus means I don't need to worry about hot liquids spilling & burning the kids.These are really so good that I’ve bought about 8 and given them as gifts to all new mum friends. Easy to clean in dishwasher, tannin stains come straight off after just mostly giving them quick hand washes. FYI if you put really very hot drinks in then be careful not to burn your tongue on first sips- it really doesn’t cool down fast at all!Hint- the stainless steel silver ones go in the dishwasher and look new forever- the coloured ones scratch as it is just a lacquered top coat and so do look scruffy quite fast.

Great concept but not tested well enough. I had new design and one would expect improvements but it leaks from moment you press button and release. AutoSeal doesn't seal! Carries on dripping on every test. Such a shame as design has potential but needs lot more work. I had to return this and found myself a simple push button version for £8.99 that works well without leaks. Given two star for effort and design of bottle not AutoSeal.

It works. All positive apart from two notable comments. The volume of liquid is equivalent one large cup. It's probably the equivalent to a medium latte from a popular coffee chain. Second notable comment is a warning - make the that the lid mechanism is in place (sprung) before winding on the lid and sealing it, otherwise it won't seal properly and liquid leaks fast. Potentially a simple mistake after taking the lid out of the dishwasher. Apart from this, it's fine. Cost reduction with popular coffee shops when using this product.

Love this cup. This is the second one I’ve had as the old one finally started to leak after nearly 7 years of constant use / dishwashing. The money it has saved me in instant teas and coffee more than make up for the initial outlay. This newer version has a lock I see - even better! If you are considering one of these I say go for it. Get the stainless steel as the coloured ones appear to get grubby looking with wear.

Brilliant travel mug. I use it for work and for hiking. Great at keeping my tea hot.Clever locking mechanism.The stainless steel on is the best for me as I can put the lid and main body in the dishwasher.The lid has a part that can be lifted up so the underside can be cleaned, too. It will get stained, still, so it's not perfect to clean, hence the 4 stars in the 'Easy to Clean'.

We’ve been buying these mugs for years!! We are avid coffee drinkers and commute into London a lot. These contigo cups are fantastic because you can literally chuck it in your bag. I’m happy it doesn’t come with extra packaging these days too. Great for the environmentally conscious of us.

Great product although a bit pricy!Difficult to clean but overall a great product

It's great, put the lock on and it doesn't leak with the accidental pushing of the release button. So much nicer than having water in your bag!!! Would recommend.
