Great quality, just like I remembered as a kid.

Just discovered Shel Silverstein and bought three different poetry books for grand children age 3,6 and 9. The extended family have now all bought some of his books. The poems appeal to all ages and are an absolute delight.

This book is fun for children to read. Poems are all relatively short. If you aren't familiar with Shel's work, you won't be disappointed. Just buy it.

Excellent book, a bedtime favourite. A collection of silly, real and funny poems with rhythm, simple illustrations and the potential for the continuing love of poetry and rhyme. Highly recommended, for me there is no age limit. My grandson reads this aloud with such enthusiasm!

Shell Silverstein is a pleasure to read both for adults and for children. I read this book to my three year old daughter who stares at the caricatures quizzically. I also read it to my newborn which I agree is taking things far but the black and white drawings appeal to newborns. The poetry is appealing and very imaginative just like a child's mind. I recommend this book .
