Great fast charger for your car. I have a 2012 car which had a USB A Port installed at the factory. Trouble is that the output on that port was so low it wouldnt charge my phone fast enough to keep pace with the draw required to keep my satnav app running. I removed the stock port, opened up the hole to 29mm (required to fit this new charger) then pulled out my Cigar lighter on the opposite side of my cars centre console to access the power leads. I tapped into the cigar lighter power leads to provide power to the new charger, thrraded the wires inside the centre console then pushed the new charger and the cigar lighter back into place. The charger illuminates blue and can charge 3 devices simultaeneously. It can be turned off using the small switch on the top but because its connected to the cigar lighter wiring it automatically turns both on and off with the ignition. Recommended!

Great idea as it also helps with keeping an eye on your battery voltage, and you can keep an eye on your charge rate too.

Only the 3.0 QC port gave quick charge. I am aware that end devices must support PD and I ensured the test was done with that in mind.Using the two 27.5w rated USB - PD ports gave well below 1A of charge and neither port negotiated fast charge, in fact my device gave me a warning that it was charging slow. (Incredibly Slow! - Attached photo)I used my same USB-C to USB-C PD rated cable on my cigarette lighter adapter (which also supports both QC and PD) and I had no issues with the same device negotiating a fast charge via PD. I also tested the Linkstyle USB Car Charger Socket with a few other devices and none of them could get fast charging with the PD outputs.Returned as it was pointless having one QC port and 2 very slow USB C ports.I ordered a different brand (Thlevel) with 1 QC 3.0 and 1 45w USB-C PD (less ports but better PD out power rating) and both work perfectly so it was this adapter that wasn't as advertised / faulty, I advise anyone who is using this adapter to check your charge rate with an app like "ampere" to ensure it's not charging slowly.
