Seeing that I've had the NUC12WSHi7 for 4 months now I decided I should probably write a review on it. Note that I had previously been using an AMD system I had built for my wife. Unfortunately, no matter what I tried with the AMD I just could not get it to be stable while gaming. I spent two months troubleshooting every possible piece of hardware/software and finally just gave up and got the Wall Street Canyon NUC. Immediately I had a better experience with the NUC.The box that the NUC comes in is all fancy! Granted aesthetics doesn't affect your PCs performance but bonus points to intel anyway. I already had a copy of Windows 10 as well as an M.2 and SATA SSD drive so all I had to do was install the memory I had purchased with the NUC. It only took about 5 minutes to unscrew the NUC case, install the memory and SSD drives then screw the case back on. Windows 10 installed stupid fast and I was at the Windows desktop in about 15 minutes. From there it did take about 15 minutes to download the remaining Windows updates but then I was good to go.One of the awesome things that Intel includes is the Driver & Support assistant software. It's a one-stop shop that takes you to a webpage that automatically scans all the drivers for your NUC hardware. If anything is out of date it shows you and gives you a link to download the newest version and install it. This is super useful as you only need to run it once a month or so.I originally purchased this for my wife to use as her PC. To be honest it is complete overkill for her needs. However, I also wanted a PC that could do some decent Casual gaming as a backup to my main gaming system. I was a bit nervous about the graphics drivers performance given all the problems that I had experienced with the AMD but it turns out I had nothing to worry about. The drivers in the NUC have been completely flawless from day one. I have read some other people leaving reviews on Amazon stating that they are experiencing thermal throttling on these NUCs. All I can say is that maybe they had defective units and that I have had zero issues with this. Keep in mind I have tested gaming for 3-4 hours straight and still no issues. I do have the BIOS settings set to COOL instead of QUIET. Every few minutes I will hear the fan kick up for about a minute then ramp back down to normal where I can't even hear it running.This is exactly what I wanted performance wise. It blows my mind that Intel was able to cram that much performance in to something of this size. If you are looking for something that has excellent gaming performance, relatively quiet fan noise in a small footprint then this is definitely for you.

You don't have to sit around and wait for this processor to load.

I bought this Intel NUC in April 2023. I waited over a year and half to provide review because I wanted to ensure that this NUC is stable before I write something about it. 1.5 years later, I can honestly say that this is a superb product. It has never been unresponsive or give me an error message upon booting it up. It is super fast. Extremely quiet, which is one top reason why I went w/ this (I had an old NUC for 6+ years prior to this). Furthermore, this NUC is so small! If you want a reliable, quiet, yet strong computing power, you need to seriously consider this. It will get you very far and more on everyday office work! I would definitely buy this again and would buy this for my mom!

I needed to get a PC for my daughter for her schoolwork. This mini PC is great for that and the light gaming she plays (Minecraft, Roblox, etc...). It's form factor is perfect for her desk as I can put it directly under her monitor and leaves the rest of her desk space for schoolwork.It came with Windows 11 Pro so that was great as well. Pro allows for remote desktop which I use to access my NAS.I may consider purchasing another Intel NUC for our family room (for watching streaming media) at some point down the road.

Intel's NUC form factor has been a favorite for us. It attaches to the back of a monitor via the included mount which makes for a clean setup when paired with a wireless KB and mouse.Spec wise it is fast enough for our office and doesn't get in the way of work. This particular computer has been reliable where we deployed it. 512GB version is probably decent for most people; we aren't storing much of anything on it, so 256GB was sufficient for us.The seller shipped quickly and product was as described. Have bought from this seller on other occasions with similar resultsWe are happy.

So, specifically, this is a review of the item that came preconfigured with Windows 11 Pro preinstalled from GEEK+. It's great! They installed Crucial DDR4 3200 Dual channel RAM, and a Lexar 620 SSD, both name brand parts. Windows 11 Pro was installed correctly, with drivers pre-installed, and with no added bloatware except what Microsoft forces you to see in the start menu with a clean installation. I still went ahead and wiped the drive and reinstalled Windows 11 and it's just fine, the license sticks with the machine as expected. Perfectly good way to get an office PC setup quickly.

I ordered an Intel NUC and it arrived promptly in perfect condition and as advertised. I will definitely buy more of these. Great small form factor PC that fits in my small desk space and has the power of a full sized computer. I highly recommend this product for small desk spaces.

I purchased this to test out running linux on the desktop. I wanted thunderbolt and a small form factor, without putting in the time to build my own. This has been the perfect setup. It's pretty sweet that the vendor supplies these with the M2 drive and memory pre-installed so all I had to do was plug it in and get to work.
