Are your teas tested for heavy metals?

FGO strives to be a market leader in food safety and quality. While it is not FGO policy to share testing results (COAs), please be assured that all of our products are tested by a third-party independent and accredited labs for heavy metals, microbials, aflatoxins and nutrition.. Any batch not meeting our quality and safety standards is rejected and returned to the supplier. Additionally, our products are third party certified by the Non-GMO Project Verified company and USDA organic.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               FGO plants are regulated by the FDA cGMP rules (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and is audited for compliance by a third party. In addition to this, we have an FDA registered PCQI (preventative controls qualified individuals) as part of our quality team. The FSMA food laws (food safety modernization act) require these individuals to have documented training and are legally responsible for food safety                                                                                                                                                                                                       All of our products are tested for nutritional’s, microbials and heavy metals, including lead.

Dumb question… Does this pod leave “pulp” or “residue” in the tea? Some people prefer drinking something without obstacles and multiple textures.

I've only tried the peppermint flavor.  There is no residue, but every now and then there is a bit of tea that get into my mug.
