Cook pasta from scratch inside this interactive recipe book – fry, simmer, boil, drain, grate and more! A simple but accurate recipe takes young readers through the steps of cooking spaghetti, from chopping onions to serving up a plate of steaming hot pasta with tomato sauce, while the interactive novelty features invite them to participate in the process ... without any chance of spilling anything. Move the tab up and down to add the onions and garlic, lift the flap to open the can of tomatoes, pull the tab to bring the water to a boil, use the punch-out fork to twist some spaghetti onto your fork to taste, and more. One hundred percent adult-free, danger-free, and mess-free – whether you are cooking outside or inside this book, spaghetti has never been so independent! Ages 2 - 4 Review: Cute interactive kids books - This book series is very cute. It’s interactive so it helps kids get excited about reading. We added this to our collection and I’m happy we did so. You do have to make sure the child puts the pieces that are removable back in the book or they may get lost. They are good quality but won’t stand up to actual play just pretend book play. I’d recommend these for the 2-4 year old age range. Shipping was fast and no issues with quality of item. Review: Great interactive book - Fun book. Price was a tad on the higher side for this book. Wouldnt recommend for younger than 3 without supervision because the interactive portion is tricky for young toddlers. Overall A+

Great For Pretend Play
On initial read with my toddler my first thought was “this isn’t as cool as the pizza one.” I’ve been pleasantly surprised over the months that we have had this book though. While the moving parts aren’t quite as fancy to me, this book opened up doors to add pretend play like; lifting the flap to “open the can of tomatoes” but then pouring the tomatoes into the pan and stirring the sauce. We also like to pick up the shredded cheese and basil and sprinkle it onto the pasta. Don't get me wrong there are still plenty of fun little interactive things throughout the book, but some of the mechanisms repeat. So what was not as cool to me initially, has actually been a lot of fun for me and my toddler. The highlight is that the book comes with a removable cardboard fork to test your pasta cook and the finished spaghetti. I did wrap the end in clear packing tape because we used it so much it was fraying a bit. This seems to have worked great. We’ve made spaghetti countless times with this book over the last few months and it’s still a hit. Definitely worth adding to the book shelf.

My toddler's favorite series
Prepare to be whisked away into a culinary adventure with the Cook in a Book series! We're huge fans of these books and can't wait for more to come out! The illustrations are downright drool-worthy, bursting with vibrant colors that just scream fun! Now, let's talk about this particular gem. My daughter's absolute favorite part? Twisting the fork to chow down on some spaghetti! It's like she's at her own little pasta party. We adore all the interactive elements sprinkled throughout the series—flipping, pulling, sliding—each one more delightful than the last. Sure, my little chef is still mastering the art of twirling her fork, but mark my words, when she's a tad older, we'll be donning our chef hats and diving into these recipes together. Who knows, maybe she'll be whipping up her own spaghetti masterpiece in no time! At 15 months, she's already a culinary connoisseur in the making, and I have no doubt we'll be savoring the magic of these books for years to come! :)

Great addition to our other interactive books!
My daughter loves all the other interactive books in this series! So I got her this one in hopes she would like this one too. She isn’t a fan of eating spaghetti yet, but she does like the noodles, so I believe that’s why she enjoys this book. This book has a handful of interactive pages that she loves doing every time we read it!

Found on social media
I saw these on social media and loved that they were interactive. I ordered this one and another in the series for my nieces. The books are very cool, but they are very short and I wish there were more interactive parts to them. Some of the flaps ripped off the very first time my nieces looked at it (we pushed it back in place and now it's just a disconnected piece) Would definitely like to see these expanded, but the premise is really, really cool!

Good quality book with nice interactive features
A really nice interactive book, nice quality card however the little fork has broken. Think my 2 year old is still a bit young for this. She does enjoy reading it and I think we will get more enjoyment from it as she gets older.

Cute idea - but just ok
So, I love the idea, it’s cute, and I understand the production costs, but for what it is, it’s just ok.
