I've not worked a lot with boning and when I did, I felt the results were not very professional and for that reason, I avoided strapless dresses as much as I could. I ordered this and I really like the stiffness it provided my granddaughter's dress. There was actually boning in the ready-made dress she brought me for alterations, but I added a layer of this in the front and took it all the way down to the waist line (learned that from one of Princess Di's dressmakers) and it all came out great. Bring on the strapless stuff!

This was my first time sewing with boning . I was very pleased with the dress I made and I was happy with the boning.

Cuts and sews through easily, yet provides great rigidity.

Good stuff

I use boning on tops of cotton catch all bags I sew. The boning keeps them opened for ease of use. Think of it like the reverse of elastic sewn in to keep the top closed.This boning is high quality and very easy to cut to size.I would buy it again.
