Great learning tool!
This board, and the others in the series, are great for solder practice and allow you to visualize electrical theories. With instructions on their website that are easy to follow and very thorough, assembly is fun and easy. Seeing the relationship between the different components and the effects that they have on each other has helped solidify my understanding of core electric concepts, and putting these boards together gave me a reassuring boost of confidence and sense of accomplishment.

Practice, not Learn to Solder
Looking to get back into soldering to enhance my work skills, I purchased this kit based on the 2 previous reviews. Got the kit in a timely manner, everything there nicely packaged and even included a resistor guide. No written instructions, instead you have to go online and watch a video. Many older people like myself who are trying to learn or re-learn skills would much rather have written instructions and use a video to fall back on. My workbench is no where near my computer. Also the video tells you right away that this is not a "learn to solder" like it says on the top of this page. Instead it sends you to a youtube page for a tutorial on soldering in which they want you to subscibe. It does say further down on the Amazon page, Practice soldering/Learn electronics which is more accurate. The video could have been a little more polished and informative.

Lots of fun
Nicely made and worked like a charm. I even showed it to my wife and she was so excited to hear about what it teaches. This was my first soldering job, and it went fine. The components are perfectly made and laid out nicely.
