True Refrigeration Gasket 932588

I had no way to tell but these gaskets seem to be a True OEM product. First and foremost it is a perfect fit and sits smooth and flat once installed. The magnet strip works really well, enough pressure to seal the door properly but not too much to make the door hard to open. As far as easy installation, these types of gaskets are not easy to install. I did it by hand using a plastic tool designed to push wires behind interior auto trim. I would not recommend this technique. It did come out perfect, however it was extremely difficult and frustrating. I have prepared myself for the next install and purchased a "13" Gasket Boss" .

I work with a lot of sugary drinks and when some of the sugar gets on the sides of the frig or the gasket, the stickiness eventually tears the outer cover of the gasket. When this happens, the magnet sometimes falls off or works it way out through the hole. This gasket is a good alternative but I noticed the outer casing feels a little softer then the original. It actually feels like it might tear more easily. The magnet that holds the door closed and forms the seal also feels weaker then the original. The door which the new gasket is installed is much easier to open compared the the door that still has the original gasket. Even thought the description says this is an original OEM part, I'm not so sure of that. However it is easy to install and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts as long as the original.

It wont allow the door to close properly, made out of a cheaper rubber than the original.

Replacing them was easy fill a sink with hot tap water let them sit for 15-25 minutes pull them out and snap them in.
