Well built/excellent sound!
I went back and forth between the Azor compressor and the Behringer. At first I thought the Azor had a clearer/better sound, but spent some more time with the both of them and realized that the knobs have to be turned up higher on the Behringer to get a similar sound. Ultimately I changed my mind and decided to keep the Behringer over the Azor because the Azor has a slight hissing noise that the Behringer doesn't. It's not bad, though. The Azor is also all metal. I'm not a gigging musician, so I think the plastic Behringer will hold up just fine for me. Still, the Azor is a great pedal. I'm still giving it 5 stars

Good price and works ok but noisy
Very noisy when turn the gain passed noon … I could not make it sound better with it than without so returned.

Relatively clean guitar compressor, for not much $ = great value
The pedal compresses guitar signals at a budget price. Very much worth what you pay - and then some. What's here: a big lighted compressor knob, EQ and Level controls, and a tiny enclosure built like a tank. What I find particularly useful is putting this compressor after EQ with boost, and before or after overdrive with boost. Since this compressor *also* has boost, you can shape your sound relative to both input and output levels at three contiguous stages in the pedal chain. Incredibly useful for varying timbres. What's not here: attack and sustain controls. Attack can be a bit much with heavy picking, but you learn quickly how to match your playing style to what the compressor can do. Feature-wise (and probably sound-wise), the pedal is like a bunch of other compressor pedals with similar features. In my case, it plays well with two AZOR overdrive pedals and a JOYO graphic EQ. The pedal board that it's on also has two inexpensive Behringer pedals (FX600 multi-effects and DR600 reverb) at the end. The board was built to prove that it's possible to combine the best of inexpensive pedals into a very functional, complete unit - and it is! I have more expensive effects pedals and pedal boards that are - yes - better in most respects. But the AZOR compressor filled out what is a great complement of inexpensive guitar pedals that are versatile and actually sound good. Kudos to AZOR for this pedal and the two previously purchased overdrive pedals, each of which is amazingly good for the $. Compression on single-coil clean Tele and Strat sounds with the AZOR compressor sounds great, is just what is needed. So if you haven't invested in simple compressor and EQ - plus optimally, a noise reduction pedal such as the Behringer NR300 - then just do it. EQ, compression, and noise reduction are the foundation of any electric or acoustic/electric guitar sound. And at these prices, there's no excuse not to.

Compressor pedal is awesome!
So I’ve tried several of these Azor pedals and there are 2 standouts so far. One is the brown spring reverb which is killer for those classic springy surfy tones. The other one is the orange compressor pedal. This thing is not subtle!! But in the best way. Seems to have slower attack so it gives you a really punchy poppy in your face sound that’s especially great for country/chicken pickin or aggressive leads. Put on a little spring reverb & slapback delay & plugged in the tele & I was in hog heaven! Other great thing about this compressor pedal is it’s very quiet unlike some others. The other compressor I use is the Keeley but it’s a totally different sound. Glad I have both because both can be useful in different situations! For a $20 compressor I’m blown away!

Don’t waste your time!
Had a DOD compressor in the 90’s. This pedal has ZERO effect on sound and it doesn’t matter where it’s at in the series, it’s just an extra volume knob to deal with. Also makes amp hum, turn it off and hum goes away.

Does the job Well

Using it for voice: alright, but you'll need to amplify the compressor after processing
Kind-of usable for voice. I have to use it at very low levels, otherwise it does make the voice sound robotic (note that this is a guitar pedal and I was looking for a cheap, portable compressor. Many guitar pedals are very usable for voice). It really knocks down the volume (no make-up gain). Other pedals might actually help with the make-up gain. Still, for the price, I would consider it handy.

Good'nuff
If you need a compressor but dont have much money this'll do. I did research and watched a lot of youtube "afford a board" videos and this ones ok
