Please Don’t Waste Your Time or Money
As I read this horribly edited book filled with numerous grammatical errors, oddly inappropriate comments and liberal use of exclamation marks (!), I wondered how on earth it was recommended to me by a highly trusted source. I checked and I had simply ordered the wrong book. Please don’t waste your time reading this very poorly written and edited book (using that word is a stretch). I’m returning it and will be ordering the correct book.

Errors in editing and information that could be found for free are plentiful....help is not on the way in this edition.
First and foremost, there are many errors in punctuation and editing. The use of "lol" in sentences is probably not the most attractive reading. Don't get me wrong, I love humor from someone trying to guide my anxiety/social issues, but it wasn't done well here. Several references are confusing in terms of CBT methodology. I haven't finished it yet, but I began questioning the book and it's why I'm here. Most of it seems to be a guy's perspective on trying to walk up to an attractive woman and why they might be rejecting him. I came to learn, attempt self CBT help, and feel better, but it will not come from this. I do believe the author has good intentions, it's just not done properly. I was also looking for a portion in the book where the author could explain their expertise or studying background, but I can't find one. They want to help, but it's average to below-average type help. Many of those suffering chronically should not attempt this book. You've heard it all of the meat to this one already in therapy. If you're looking for something to maybe (seriously...maybe???) make you want to try CBT in a clinical setting, perhaps it's worth a read. I can't in good consciousness recommend this book.

This is a handy resource for both individuals managing stress and anxiety and state of mind issues and clinicians who work with them.

We need to be honest to ourselves
Excellent book to read, good advise, very simple to follow but as human we seem to find hard to do. I can apply this to me and to all my patients

Extremely short book with minimal useful information. I say short as there are no page numbers so that you cannot accurately how long the book is. I would estimate 35 pages....definately not worth the $14.00 I paid for it !

Honestly, I did not benefit much as a therapist since I am not a beginner. From the title I thought it will say more than what I got, however; I think people with no CBT background may benefit more. The title says it includes downloadable workbooks; where is that? May you advise?

Bit disappointed
For the price I am quite disappointed. No diagrams and the quality of paper used in this paperback is certainly not the best. I've downloaded free pdfs from another source that are far superior and easier to refer to.
