Galaxy Upholstery Fabric by The Yard, Outer Space Starry Sky Indoor

Ooooo I LOVE this fabric! I make corsets and this stuff really is great. Its SO soft. You can rub it in any direction and its soft to the touch. This makes it great for corsets because its gentle on the underarms but lends a soft sheen that looks beautiful. People said it frays so I prepared for it but it behaved really well for me. It washed and dried in the prewash like a champ and it didnt melt or burn under the iron. Im going to look at the other print options and get some more soon. 10/10

Thick heavy upholstery fabric. Vibrant colors, very pretty fabric.

This fabric is bright and beautiful to use for my kitchen mini makeover. I used the fabric to make a table runner, placemats and sewed strips of the fabric onto some new kitchen towels and also potholders. It adds the perfect pop of colour. Be advised though, that this fabric has a light, velvety feel; almost like a suede. It worked fine for my needs, but depending on your project, the texture might not be the best option. It is beautiful and exactly the colours I wanted.

Beautiful colors, feels great, is the style I wanted, seems as thick as upholstery fabric at the local stores. Correct sizes for what I ordered. Overall I love it thanks!

This fabric print is so cute! I missed the word “upholstery “ in the description. Bought it to make dog walking bags. I broke so many needles trying to work with this. Now, the bag turned out very cute, but it wasn’t worth the effort and broken machine needles to use it.

Beautiful fabric

The fabric pattern and color looks much as shown, and is a reasonable deal. I was going to use the material to refinish bar stool seats but the pattern just didn't look good with surrounding decor. I will keep it as I love the pattern and may use it in another spot. It appears very durable, but bear in mind the spaces between the colors is white so may soil easily. Would recommend, and there's a wide variety of patterns and colors to choose from.

Great vibrant print, but a bit thinner than others I have purchased. The major disappointment I had with this fabric is that it gets a run very easy, had this happen when merely removing a sewing pin. As with all polyester fabrics, you have to melt the edges with a soldering/wood burning tool before sewing to prevent fraying, so if you do this, it won't be a problem.

Nice quality material.

While I did not received the pattern depicted in the description,, the one delivered was similar and I really like it. The fabric is thick, soft and exceeded my expectations. I have now ordered another fabric from this collection and can't wait for it to arrive. Very pleased. *****

Very pleased with the quality and colouring. The shipment was sent very quickly, however, as the material comes from China, the transit time did take a bit more time than normal.

Beautiful fabric that is true to its photo. The colors are deep and the thickness provides a lot of durability.
