This is a great desk, and definitely the best glass one you'll get for 100 dollars. It's stylish, study, and gives up a surprising amount of desktop real estate for its size. I was on the fence about buying this one for a while, as the last 100 dollar corner desk I purchased was on the ropes, having fallen apart after moving it. I'm glad I did end up deciding to trust the other reviews and get it because it's been great for the last two months that I've been using it. Putting it together wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be, and took about an hour or so total (I was taking my time and enjoying a couple of beers while I was being "productive" on the weekend ;) ). The instructions are probably the best I've seen for a piece of put-it-together-yourself furniture, and the only hiccup I had was orienting the keyboard tray sliders in the proper direction. It's kind of hard to tell from the picture they show you, but it's easy enough to figure out if you trust your gut. However, I'd recommend not even bothering with the keyboard tray anyway - I find it MUCH too low to really use and my legs always hit against it when I'm swiveling around. I do have a tall chair - but it's not THAT tall. I'm going to remove mine if I ever get around to it. As far as it's sturdiness goes, I'm pretty impressed how it all came together. It feels rock solid to me, and I haven't had an instance of wondering whether it was going to be able to take weight or fearing that it would tip or anything like that. As you'll see in the pictures, I've got a heavy 34" ultrawide curved monitor sitting on top, with a keyboard and some speakers and it holds them just fine. There's no flexing, moving, or clicking, or any sort of noise when I rest my wrists to type, and, perhaps most importantly, there is NO WOBBLE to the desk of any sort. I've long since given up doubting the strength of the tempered glass units, and I suspect that it would only break or rupture (as in one or two photos I saw in the reviews here) if it had some sort of flaw from the factory. I ordered the black one, and be aware that IT IS A FINGERPRINT/SMUDGE MAGNET. This is to be expected, however, because it is glass. But if you're not prepared to wipe it down to keep it looking neat, you might be in for some disappointment in the aesthetic department. If you do keep it nice and neat, it's a desk that will surely impress. I expect it'll be a few years before I go looking for a new one. Something else to keep in mind, as I watched this desk for a period of a month or so before buying, I witnessed the price go up and down about 30 dollars, topping out at around 130.00. If its worth saving a few dollars to you, if you wait while it's at a high point, I expect it'll drop back down after a while. I'm not sure what causes the fluctuations, perhaps supply, but if it's priced at 100.00 now, I'd snag it before it goes back up.

[UPDATE]: It’s been over 5 years now since I bought this desk, and it’s probably one of the single best investments I’ve made. It definitely shows its age now with some worn marks into the glass where things sat for long periods of time and some fading from my arms/wrists sitting atop it. But it’s still rock-solid, none of the piece have broken or fallen out, and I’ve taken it through 5 difference residences now and it’s made the moves with no issues. Super easy to move when you take the glass panels off and detach the two sides. This is definitely a worthwhile computer desk in the sub-$100 range if you don’t mind that the keyboard tray isn’t all that great. Hasn’t hindered my use whatsoever. —————————————————————- I don't know about buying this at the full ~$250 retail price, but for the $90 I got it for, it is more than worth it. I'm always hesitant about buying anything shipped to me that has big glass components to it like this does. But it was very, very well packaged and everything arrived without any markings whatsoever. My tower is too big to use the little computer stand that came with it, and I didn't bother to put together the keyboard tray because it's awkward to use the keyboard in the tray and the mouse up on the desk itself, so keep in mind this is all for just the main portion of the desk itself. It's very sturdy. Even on a bumpy carpet floor in my room with oversized objects sitting atop it, it makes minimal rocking. Without the keyboard tray there's plenty of leg room (I'm about 5'11). I'm using it with a single monitor right now, but I plan to upgrade to 2 and I don't see any reason why they both won't fit on the surface of the desk. Keep in mind I also have my 2.1 speakers and subwoofer on it, along with my keyboard and mouse and the tower sitting on the corner piece. Assembly wasn't terrible at all. I put it all together single-handedly, and while I'll admit, some parts were a pain without a second pair of hands, it still took me less than an hour to put everything together and replace everything on it from my old desk. And it looks really nice. All in all, I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a better desk and not break their wallet in the process. Just try to have a second pair of hands nearby to speed up the assembly a bit.

When shopping for desks, I was looking for an l-shaped desk that would not get in the way of my unusually large case, and that would hold multiple monitors without trouble. I doubt I will be able to use the computer case tray, but it's separate from the desk itself so that if I don't use it I can get it out of my way, so that doesn't really matter. The box that this comes in is very compact. This was good, because combined with its 57 lb. weight, if the box had been larger I don't think I would have gotten it up the stairs by myself. There is a lot of styrofoam, which for me definitely got everywhere, but I was happy that all the parts were shipped safely. I saw at least one review that said that this takes two people to assemble and that the instructions are bad. Maybe they've updated the instructions since that post, but I definitely don't agree. The instructions were clear to me, and I assembled it by myself without significant issues. I was expecting far worse, based on the desks I've had in the past. I only had two problems - the first one I had was that I wanted the keyboard section of the desk on the right side rather than the left side of the desk, which you can definitely do, but I personally had trouble visualizing how to alter the instructions to do this at first. Rather than planning ahead I just had to redo a couple of things, but it really wasn't a big deal. The second is that I had a very hard time getting the keyboard try to slide in the first time - but I think I was just doing it wrong, because I had a friend come over and he did it easily in a minute or two. Even with all my errors, it only took an hour or two to assemble the whole thing. One thing I noticed was that I didn't quite trust the screws to screw in quite right. Often I thought I had something poorly threaded when really the hole it was going into was just a little crooked. It doesn't appear to be a big deal so far, just be aware that this product, while very nice, is imperfect. Also note that you need your own Phillips head screwdriver. You'll have to clean the glass regularly if you want to keep it looking nice, but if you do, it really does look great. The glass is opaque. It is held in place by little suction cups. I found these suctions cups somewhat more difficult to install than I would expect, and in a non-uniform way. Sometimes I had to use the bottom of my screwdriver to get the suction cups to go fully into their spot, after which they seemed just a little "cracked" down the middle, but not always. Again, not a big deal, but the irregularity of this feature makes the product imperfect to me. I haven't had a chance to put the desk to use yet, so I can't say whether the suctions cups can be trusted to hold the glass pieces in place, nor can I say much about the overall robustness of the desk. I do think it will work well though, and I will update this review if my opinion on the subject changes in any way.
