Great quality and usefulness of marking, sizing holes. Durable and strong but light weight. Pencils are awesome too built in sharpening cap is sweet. Best speed square I have bought so far.

Very satisfied with this item. We'll made, many pluses that I haven't gotten to use yet. The addition carpenter's pencil is great as well...extendable tip to mark through drilled holes etc. Its also easy to keep up with (for me) with the clip. (Now I just have to remember to use the clip instead of laying it down.... then starting the search😄)

Love it, simple and function only weak part is the pencil.

I have been a handyman for 8 years and this combo is a game changer. I have multiples of the pencils so I gave the squares a chance and they were very helpful in a lot of situations where you would use one. Wish they had a 12” and 3” square.

First off it arrived about a day late but that was no fault of the seller or amazon but our local postal system has proven to be able to lose anything they get their hands on. The square once recieving it I put it straight to work without hesitation. Its accurate, easy to read and for the money it is a tool that should be in every tool box. I build furniture and use this thing every five minutes and is my guide for getting everything square and keeping it square. I have to say as frustrated as I was to get it late, I definitely turned happy after starting to use it. I have other brands cost more and I have more than one that is more expensive but I really like this one the best. The color combination makes it easy to see and use consistently and this was money well spent for my daily needs. I certainly will buy another one and thinking about getting two more.

I upgraded from a basic aluminum one that numbers were hard to read. It’s easy to read and has additional features tat are useful. But, best of all was the carpenters pencil. For years I have used the traditional carpenters pencil that is square/flat and couldn’t get a fine point on or it would break. Started using a .07mm mechanical pencil and the lead would constantly break. This pencil is perfect with its 2.88 mm lead that comes with a sharpener just for this lead. Doesn’t break and I can get a fine point when needed. Plus much more. So worth getting two great items for this price!

The square is well marked. The pencil is great for wood work. Have used pencils for deep hole work all my life. Never used one of these. Will probably never use a pencil again.
