not fully convinced
i needed a new set, to run on a single USB transmitter because the old mouse jumped around, and i specifically wanted a keyboard with a caps lock warning light - which was hard to find. i chose HP over anonymous brands. The mouse is very lightweight, flimsy loooking - but works fine. As for the keyboard I'm a UK English user, using this HP keyboard with a HP laptop, but had to set the language to US Barbados to get the characters to appear as per the keys. There's no pound symbol , unless I set it to English - but then I lose the # (which becomes the pound) and the " and the @ swap places . unlike the old keyboard I can't have all 3 characters, so it was a backward step ...though a work around is to copy the pound from the character map. A side effect of this language change seems to have been to drive the MS word spellchecker mad, as it now ignores garbage and underlines correct things now - randomly. It's also prone to virtual sticky keys, deleting long strings or entering like - ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd until I hit escape to stop itAs the thing for some reason came from China, i can't be faffed sending it back so will tolerate it until i find one in PC world where at least I can physically take it back if it plays up.None of the serial numbers on the keyboard are recognised by the HP website either - so make of that what you will.

Save your money
Keyboard and mouse feel cheap and not real HP . The listing and even the outer box label says it's an English layout but it's actually Spanish (with different layout and letters)

Actual keyboard is Spanish vs listing & packaging saying English
Good price and fast delivery. Keyboard and mouse connect easily and feel good quality. However, the listing and even the outer box label says it's an English layout but it's actually Spanish (with different layout and letters) so isn't usable and was returned 10 days ago. No refund received yet though...
