Can't believe these were $8 - AWESOME!!!!
I have really had a hard time finding the "right" headset. In the past 14 months, I had bought 4 of them... and there was something "not quite right" about each of them. They ranged in price from about $20 to over $100. Each one was either not loud enough... or had poor sound quality... or were not comfortable....or had some flaw that bothered me.I work from home and engage in several ZOOM meetings, so my headset is an important part of doing my job.I saw this set at $7.99 and only bought it as an emergency back-up, expecting it to be garbage but, at 8 bucks, figured if it works at all, it would be worth having on-hand as a spare.I got it last week and tested it and... it is AMAZING!The sound quality is deep and full... the volume level is unbelievable and it has a conveniently-located volume control dial at the rear of the left earpiece. The cord is just the right length for me at about 4 ft.... and they are comfortable, with just the right amount of "snug" so they don't slip out of place.I have seen other comments that they are "too small" for an adult head. Sorry... those people must just have big heads. I think my head is about normal size and they fit me like they were custom-designed for me. With that said, I will admit that I have them extended to their maximum size so if your head is larger than average, they may not be for you.The only thing I cannot speak to is longevity. I have only had them for about a week so, for all I know, they could quit working tomorrow (and if they do, I will update this review). But that possibility aside, I dare say this is my favorite headset ever and, even though I bought it for a back-up, it immediately became my "main" headset and my other (far more expensive) ones are now my emergency back-ups.At $8... I am going to order one or two more sets (more back-ups) and recommend them to my colleagues. With such an insanely low price (and Amazon's liberal return policy)... if you are considering this item, there is NO RISK so go for it. If they were any cheaper, I would hand them out to trick-or-treaters this Halloween!I am so excited about this purchase!

Cheap nd good
This feels like a 40$ mic. Doesn’t have a mute button but you could raise the microphone piece up

Doesn;t work right
They are sore and tight but also I have to leave them partially unplugged to get any sound from them. I didn't expect much from them because of the price but don't waste your money.

The shipping time was good as ever
Sprry for this but this is the first product that Amazon has sent where I felt a rant is due. I don't kmow whether I got a dud pair or if the product was damaged in the shipping process but this product pissed me off to no avail. The shipping time was good as ever, always reliable and for a cheap headset, the box and items inside looked pretty good for the price. However, right off the bat, I get the headset out of the box and have to expand it all the way out to get it to fit on my head. Was this headset designed for a 4 year old? Did they not decide to ask anyone for a test on comfort and design. It felt like I had two sandpaper bricks being hydraulicly pressed onto my ears and after a few minutes the top of my head began to hurt extremely bad because the hard plastic was bearing down on my scalp. The headset itself was broken on arrival, I pull it out of the box and immediately one ear cuff produced no sound, the mix quality was worse than a pair of a dollar and change ear buds. It was abysmal my friends could barely here me and when they could it sounded like I was being drown in mud. The wire quality again like most products was worthless. I could make better wires out of pocket lint, I just don't understand why doing the little things right is so difficult for companies that make these products. I really hope the company that made these can do better.

Ready to game
This gaming headset is comfortable. The ear cups are soft and over ear so they do not hurt my ears after long periods of time because of that. It is a plug and play device and connected easily when I plugged into my devices. The sound quality is decent for playing games or listening to music/watching movies. The mic works well and my friends were able to hear me when we were gaming. I like how easily the mic can be adjusted if you want to put it closer to your mouth. The volume wheel on the headset is a nice bonus feature. The main reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is that it is a little tight on my head so I feel a bit of pressure on the sides of my head when using them. This will vary by person depending on your head size.

Great headset compared to more expensive models!
I purchased this headset after comparing it to a more expensive model and I am glad I went in this direction. These are very comfortable and adjust well to my head size. Some of the other reviews mention that they feel too tight after extended play, but I didn't experience this problem. The game sounds come through very well. The base is acceptable without drowning out the highs and mids. Directional sound such as footsteps and gunfire in the distance on Titanfall 2 work very well. The mic picked up my voice very clearly, even though I tend to speak softly when I play because my wife and kids are usually asleep upstairs when I play. My only issue was occasional static when the cord to my Xbox one controller was jostled, but I'm not sure the problem there is not with the jack on the controller. Most of the technology utilized by the mid-range name brand headsets such as Turtle Beach, us available on lesser known brands such as these for much less money. I am very happy I went with these.
