Fantastic bit of kit
This relay board is well built and works well with the Raspberry Pi or Arduino kit.Highly recommended for anyone looking for 8 channel relay control.I have only had this working for a few days but so far so good. (Switching lights)Also remember the relays are good for switching a maximum of 440Watts at 220V.So don't go switching your kettle or microwave as it will burn out!Overall I would definitely buy another one.

Works fantastically, but make sure you get a schematic
You look at a board and assume it works one way... and then you get a loud snap and a cloud of magic smoke. Always read the schematic. Other than that, works brilliantly (I bought a second one after realising my mistake). Well put together bit of kit and at a great price.

Great for AC power
Great but remember that these are only good for AC power (e.g. mains) and no good for 12V DC for example

Poor description, be cautious
Description of product does not say that it can only switch 75V AC or more. I needed to switch 12V DC and so these were no use.I do not know if the product is a good one or not, I have rated the product low due to the lack of info in the description, this info is not even in `product details` but lower in the extended information.

Scheda rele 8 canali
Ho acquistato questa scheda rele 8 canali per un progetto che sto realizzando . Agli ingressi va collegato il positivo per attivare il relè , a differenza di altre schede simili per arduino che funzionano con il negativo . I relè sono a stato solido e questo limita il loro utilizzo perchè non hanno dei contatti totalmente isolati , si possono comunque pilotare carichi a 230V come una lampadina ecc.. . Ho dato 3 stelle perchè mi e arrivata con un componente guasto , che ho dovuto sostituire .

Super produit pour illuminer la sapin en musique
Produit acheté pour synchroniser les guirlandes de mon sapin de noel avec de la musique ! Le résultat est la, les relais SSR sont silencieux et réactifs. Simple à mettre en oeuvre avec un Pi. Attention à ne pas trop insister sur le serrage des borniers sous peine de casser | dessouder les pattes. Très satisfait de mon achat.

Hervorragendes Steuergerät
Ich verwende dieses SSR-Board an einem Raspberry PI. Die Stromversorgung der Platine läßt sich direkt aus den 5V-Anschlüssen des Raspberry PI speisen und die 8 Eingänge schalten bereits ab 2,5V - sind damit problemlos mit den 3,3V der Raspberry PI Ausgänge steuerbar.Die SSR's sollen mit ihren max. 2A bei 230V in meiner Anwendung keine hohe Dauerlast schalten. Ich benutze sie, um konventionelle 230V Stromstoßrelais im Schaltkasten automatisiert ein- und ausschalten zu können. Dazu genügt ein kurzer Impuls, den die SSR's problemlos schaffen. So kann mein Raspberry PI genauso Lampen und Steckdosen ein- und ausschalten, wie ich es manuell am Wandschalter (Taster) kann.(01/2016) Einige weitere Module sind inzwischen an mehrere Arduino-Nano angebunden und werden über die 5V Ausgänge der Arduinos direkt versorgt. Realisiere jetzt mit Arduino-Nano, I²C Port-Extender-IC's (MCP23017), Ethernet-Modul (EtherCard) und diesen SSR-Modulen eine per Web (http) bedienbare Haussteuerung.Bitte beachten, daß dieses Modul eine positive Ansteuerlogik hat - ein H-Pegel an den Eingängen bewirkt das Durchschalten der SSR's.L-Pegel sperren die SSR's. Ähnliche Module des Herstellers mit konventionellen Relais arbeiten mit negativer Logik - ein L-Pegel am Eingang läßt das jeweilige Relais Durchsteuern.

Defects before use!
Hello,There were already defects with the 1st order, but after the exchange were more serious defects again. Two 250V/2A fuses were already defective before use. I noticed the defect unfortunately only after the assembly, so that I must remove now all wirings again and if necessary accomplish a 3rd attempt.Optically the board looks good and is very practical, but unfortunately the defects are disturbing.If the fuses work and the relays work as well, then this is a great board at a very good price.I ask again for a replacement of the defective board and a really tested board before shipping.Many thanks in advance!
