PMDG JETSTREAM 41 (PC)

I use FSX/SE together with several other PMDG products. What Amazon did not say in their advertisement was that this particular PMDG product is incompatible with FSX/SE.Money down the drain.

Good product, as usual from Aerosoft. Would like it to be for FS9 as well, as I have problems viewing things in virtual cockpit. I need more time to really get to grips with this product and it's proceedures, but will master it eventually. Not for the novice pilot, and a yoke and throttle quadrant certainly helps. Hopefully if I keep flying the tutorial, all will fall into place. Great visual model and animations panel.

I am an avid flight simmer, in the transitioning phase from small GA airplanes to the more complex liners. I chose the PMDG Jetstream 4100 as my middle step towards the 747, MD-11, 737, AND 777. This aircraft is a real joy to fly, it comes with a very well done FMS, although not as complex as those for Boeing or Airbus. Still, I could fly SIDS and STARS, DME arcs; the Jetstream does not have a VNAV function, as it does not have the autothrottle, so you have to make all your calculations to decide when to climb or descend, and at what speed. In this respect, the FMS, based on the TOD, calculates the fpm for you, but if you really want to learn how to fly it, do as I say, do your own calculations, it is the best way to learn, and makes your flights more realistic. The Jetstream comes with a very detailed tutorial flight, an introduction, and the AOM, all as PDF documents. It is well over 500 pages, a must read.I rate this plane with 5 stars, after all it is a PMDG!!Enrico

Well I did read the reviews, and I was looking forward to this, sure enough, if your 'handless' with the controls, you WILL get used to the sound of the fire warnings and looking for places to do a dead stick landingDid a lot of that waiting to print out the handbook, yes you HAVE to read the manual.You can dumb it down to turn of Engine Fire, but then you'll never know that you screwed up.Spent hours getting it all going and really enjoyed it - belive it or not I have flown real planes, but never a turboprop....its different, you really have to think ahead to slow down and keep any eye on the temperatures.Very immersive, can be very time consuming, but a feeling of accomplishment when it all goes together, and if it doesn't, you know it 's all your own fault.I have one overfly the house almost daily, so if He/She can do it....so can I!

As compared to the default aircraft, this does seem to be very complex to begin with. But after a few hours studying the tutorial, setting her up and flying is quite quick and simple. The model is beautiful, the sounds are great and the interactivity, phenomenal.Some notes on FSX performance: Putting the desired FPS slider all the way over to unlimited has really increased performance should you have an old system like mine.Should you have a relatively modern gaming pc, I recommend you purchase this without hesitation; it's worth every penny! And is the best turboprop aircraft for FSX available

The pmdg jetstream 4100 is a great add-0n for flight sim x. This is as good as the 737ng. Graphics are fantastic. Taxing in this aircraft requires great skill,and flying this aircraft requires more hands on control as the 0utopilot is unstable.. If you like pmdg then i recommend you add this one to your collection. Well worthy of its five star.

For a technical problem with my computer cost me much the install worked, but once solved the problem I'am very pleased I bought it. The plane 'running perfectly and is very well managed.

当たり前の話ですがこの飛行機のエンジンはジェットエンジンではなくターボプロップエンジンなので推進力の調整のやりかたがジェット機とは全く違います。スロットルレバーだけではなくコンディションレバーも操作しなければなりません。コンディションレバーはジェットエンジンの飛行機にはありません。エンジンの計器にはRPMとトルクというジェットエンジンにはない項目についての計器があります。自分はPMDGのジェット機は操縦したことありますがプロペラ機を操縦するのはこれが初めてです。PMDGの説明書には推進力の設定の方法についても書いてありますが簡潔なので理解するのが大変でした。ジェットエンジンとターボプロップエンジンの運転のやり方の基本的な違いがよくわからなかったのです。インターネットでいろいろ調べてやっとわかりました。いい勉強になりました。2Dコックピットがありません。着陸のとき正常なコースからのずれ(ILS)と飛行機の速さと滑走路の景色(VASIS)を同時に確認することができません。

- aussenmodell sehr gut umgesetzt- VC realistisch und klar strukturiert- sehr gute flugeigenschaften- triebwerksstart und triebwerksteuerung nicht ganz einfach aber nach genauer Beschäftigung mit Turboprop fliegern gut machbar- durch die Komplexität der Systeme nicht unbedingt was für simmer die nur mal so von a nach b fliegen und sich die Landschaft ansehen wollen
