These cookies are delicious. I will buy them again

Normally I don't purchase store cookies. I often find they have too many ingredients that you can't pronounce and some of those ingredients upset my stomach. I purchased these to taste test in order to determine if I wanted to give them as gifts this Christmas. I like the fact that they contain minimal ingredients. When I tasted one, I was really surprised at how good they were. Just enough lemon flavor without being overwhelming, a nice crunch without being to hard and the cookie breaking up into pieces and going everywhere. I also appreciate the owners using a #1 plastic in the chasing triangle container that holds the cookies--that allows for both the box the cookies come in and that little plastic holder to both be recycled. Most businesses use a higher numbered plastic because it's cheaper and I appreciate that this business used a recyclable plastic, which of course means a higher production cost to them. Yes, the cookies are a bit expensive, but the ingredients are simple, the packaging is recyclable, it is a small business you're supporting and it is based in California, where nothing is inexpensive for both producers and consumers. I will totally buy these again for myself and as gifts!

These taste nothing like shortbread cookies. They taste nothing like lemon. They taste very old and stale. Almost as though they were baked using old grease. Save yourself time and money and just get Pepperidge farm. Your taste buds will be happier.

I do not enjoy baking, but also don’t like the quality of most store-bought bakery items. These cookies are an exception. They are made from minimal, clean ingredients, and taste delicious. I was a little disappointed in the appearance of the box when it arrived, however. It was inside a larger box, and looked like it had been dropped a few times. The corners were bent, and there were random stickers all over it. The cookies, however, were fully intact and tasted as great as I had hoped.

The cookies are delicious but they don't ship well. Each package that I have ordered have had broken 2 or more cookies in it.

This cookie is good for when you want a lemon cookie with a big taste. It is a shortbread cookie of good quality. If you want to satisfy a sweet tooth this cookie will do the job.
