Bought for SN850X nvme
I purchased this because the 4tb version of the Western Digital SN850X isn't available with a heatsink option. This drive runs quite hot to begin with, and while you may be ok to run it without a heatsink in most instances (Browsing the internet, gaming etc.) it seems a sensible choice to protect your investment. Nice and easy to install in my pc. Just remove the blue strips, line up the nvme inside it and screw the heatsink together- 5 minute job.To test, i generated a random text file of 500gb in size. Without the heatsink the temperature hit 85°C about three quarters of the way through, at that point I cancelled the operation. With the heatsink installed I managed to generate the whole 500gb with a maximum temperature of 68°C, so does work well where its needed most, when the nvme is under constant load- can't be bad for less than £7!

Very useful for them to include an installation video in the product page. Quick and easy to install. It's quite a bit larger than the heatsink that came with my motherboard so look at the dimensions carefully. Feels solid with decent quality.

Cheap heatsink, takes a bit of positioning of the M.2 but appears to do the job.

It's easy to install looks good and work I have a 2Tb M.2 Drive for games it get used a lot for reading and writing to temps are good at around 30c would be nice in black or wight too I really like this product helps keep cool as thermal pads both top and bottom compact and easy recommend

Better than expected.
Pleasantly surprised by the result that this low cost cooler gives. Comes with 2 pre-applied thermal pads. You may need additional pads if your drive has some taller chips than its neighbours. Installation is easy enough. I suggest lining up the drive and cooler in the case prior to removing the thermal pad tape.- Idle temperatures before ~62'C.- Idle temperatures after ~48'C.Temperature readings above were taken on the same day after 1 hour idling from a cold boot. Thermal performance has improved after time now that the thermal pads have bedded in.

Bought for ps5 and doesn’t quite fit
Clearly a very well made heatsink , shame it’s a tight squeeze on the ps5 . Just about got it to fit by removing 2 screws and bending the ps5 add cover a little. They just need to release a ps5 version and all will be good
