Installation was a bit tricky, but there was no problem with adhesion.

I love this decal. It was easy to apply to my wall that I painted a month ago. Just make sure when you separate the shiny paper from the sticky paper, that you do it really slow so the letters don't peel off onto the shiny side instead of staying on the sticky side. Then take the sticky side with the letters and place it exactly where you want it on the wall. Dont press firmly until you know its straight. Then use a credit card and smooth it out so there is no air bubbles and make sure its pressed against the wall everywhere. Start with the middle. Then start peeling the sticky paper off slowly making sure the letters are transferred to the wall. I used the credit card to smooth more spots as I was peeling the paper. If your decal doesnt work it normally means you didnt take your time and do it correctly. Ive bought tons from different vendors and they all worked but this was by far the easiest but the letters on this one will stick to the shiny paper if you rush it.

Several things disappointed me about this product. The biggest gripe is how difficult they were to apply. I an not a novice at this and have done several of these type of decals, including one that was even larger. Full disclosure, the wall is textured, but it is mostly flat, no peaks on the texture, and have applied other decals with normal and expected challenge. This decal is very stiff and difficult to apply to any texture. I had to press every single millimeter of each letter, and it would still lift. The adhesive on the letter side was very weak, but the adhesive on the sheet holding the decal was insanely strong. It was almost impossible to separate the letter from the adhesive sheet! It took an inordinate amount of time to apply. My second gripe is how shiny these letters are. At night when the lamp or overhead light is on, it's impossible to read due to the glare produced by the letters. Finally, the structure of the wording is off; something I didn't notice when ordering. The 'we' should start on the second line, since it actually starts after a comma typically. I remedied this by cutting the 'we' out and 'eyeballing' it to the second line. It's a little off, but I'm considering another manufacturer and taking this one down.

I never realized how awesome your product is until I got another one from others. Ordered a decal like the one I ordered from you before, but it was a disappointment. It has an instruction on how to transfer the decal to the sticky plastic and blah blah blah. I had no patience and it ruined it when it won't stick. Pissed me off and ended up trashing it. That's why I want to thank you for making it easier for us customers how to install your decals. The one I bought from you is beautifully placed on top of my headboard.

Part of the decal just won't stick no matter how hard I tried so I had to peel it all off unless I wanted to glue it to the wall which I wasn't going to do

The directions that come with it are in small print and there is a slight grey behind the text. It made my eyes hurt to read and I'm a young person. I also found the directions some what confusing, but this was my first time attempting anything like this. Once it was on the wall, it looked great.

I really love having this verse in our foyer. The decal was relatively easy to place on the wall. The only problem I had with the verse was that it was missing a comma. As a teacher, this would bug me all the time. So, I made one out of some extra numbers that were on the decal. I assume the numbers were a product number. Now it is complete and I am satisfied!
