Great detailing set.

I have returned to plastic model building (after 30+ years) and find this brand fits my needs perfectly. With a good selection of shades, colours and finishes they are easy to apply, cover well and dry quickly. I by no means claim to be an expert modeler..... but I know what works!...... and for me, Vallejo paints and finishes don't let me down!....great paints that do what it says on the tin! (and does it well!)

These make it easy to add dust and weathering to your models. This pigment sticks to the models lower legs and base to give a weathered feel.It wasn't clear form the product what to use to seal on the weathering if you were going to handle rather than display them.

Very good, I use them with airbrush thinner and not the fixer. Use sparingly and allow to dry, build up the effect as its easy to over do it.

If your into modelling this is a must have item. It may take you a while to build up a good collection, but it's worth it. With many kits available this manufacturer is always good quality. It's very impressive and definitely realistic once you've mastered it. A little goes a long way, so definitely value for money.

Superb product. This pigment set actually allows a varnish coat to be sprayed on top of it without any deterioration of the pigment or without loss of texture. I’ve tried others and not received these results.

Got this pigment to start doing more weathering and mud/dirt effects on my models, so far this has been really good stuff and is good for a variety of uses.Unfortunately I haven't finished off the effects on the models just yet otherwise I would put a picture up to show, a description isn't really the best way to show how good it looks when applied.I have given this a 4 star rather than 5 for one reason, I have seen this in other reviews but a lot of the pigment was on the inside of the plastic packaging. I thought that the bottles might not have been sealed properly but when opening these the pigment looked fine, it hadn't gotten damp/clumped and all the bottles seemed to have the right amount in so I'm not sure how exactly this happened.Not a major down point but just wanted to make sure that was mentioned, aside from that small issue I wouldn't have any other problems with this pigment.
