This this is a really nice train. I don’t know much about them, but my husband does and he was happy with it.

Love the train great for the collection it did leak after putting two drops of the fluid in but other then that it’s good

Awesome train set for beginners. Comes with a very large loop of wide radius (22”) track and a suitable number of straight sections. By far the best running Bachmann locomotive I have in my collection. It is not DCC ready but perfect for those who want a fantastically detailed locomotive and matching cars. Highly recommend

Grandson loves the train daylight and he couldn't believe that he has now a working train he can run, he brings it every time he comes over with him, he's proud of this train

Pros 1) convenient boxed set. Nicely packaged with everything you need 2) detailing is beautiful for it being so affordable 3) the lighting in the passenger cars is wonderful, and our little train enthusiast loves that 4) track is very, very easy to assemble Cons 1) engine did not work upon arrival. Had to take it to our local train store to get everything lined up, otherwise the wheels would not turn 2) cars are VERY light plastic 3) wheels on cars keep coming out of place, causing them to derail Overall, the details don't make up for the poor functioning of the set. If you can afford it, save up for the nicer pieces.

The southern pacific daylight is a cool train but the locomotive derails a lot so 4/5 stars

Nice looking, disaster to use and Run, it was railing off all the time.
