Amazfit GTR Mini

Have been putting this through some abuse now, and this is what I have to say: HR is in line with other monitors I’ve tried. Same with o2 sat. Sleep tracker can be glitchy for me being on an overnight schedule; it doesn’t like to recognize my normal sleep sessions and counts them as a nap. I guess that’s something to do with their algorithm and when you go to sleep past a certain time. For me, I’m more concerned with the overall amount of time I was asleep rather than all the other metrics. If it shows I had an 8-hour “nap” because I went to bed too late and I wake up feeling rested, it’s enough to see that sleep duration (I’m really bad about keeping track of when/what time I fall asleep) Was honestly shocked at how accurate the activity and resting calories burned trackers have been; they fall directly in line with how much weight I’ve been losing vs my caloric deficit through this cut. The few workout modes I use (strength training, indoor cycling, outdoor running) all seem to work well enough, and it’s interesting looking at the metrics sheets the watch and app come up with for the workouts. Is it 100% on point? Most likely not. Is it close enough to have an idea of how I’m pushing myself through my workouts? Absolutely It shows texts notifications, but not WhatsApp notifications. It doesn’t get the Do Not Disturb memo from my phone and lets texts through, unless going into the watch’s settings and turning on the watch’s Do Not Disturb. Swipe controls can feel a little sluggish, and water streams from a shower head can manipulate the screen. Slightly annoying, but nothing I can’t ignore/get past. GPS tracking has been accurate for runs through my suburban neighborhood, though haven’t tried it outside of this smallish area yet. As far as battery life and charge speed: both have been absolutely phenomenal (Recent run went from 100% to 39% over 6 days and took maybe 30-40 minutes to come up to 100%). Build quality on it is decent. Not the fanciest, but it definitely doesn’t feel like something cheap. Overall, for the $120 I spent on it, I was actually impressed. Was really just looking to snag a basic watch and fitness tracker combo, but this surpassed the expectations I had. Yeah, there are things that could be better with it, but for the price point, I’m happy with what it can do.

I love this little watch!! I cannot say enough good things about it. It blows my Apple watch out of the water on every level. Looks, price point, app features and reliability and durability. This watch is packed with features that are helping me stay accountable and reach my goals and then some. It's small but perfect size for my wrist. It does not bump my wrist when I flex my hand back like my Apple watch did. It doesn't accidentally push the button. It's super lightweight so you really don't notice that you're sleeping in it. Everything my Apple watch could do, this one does, but better with a few more added features. Step counter is on point. Sleeping recognition is on point. I can wear this easily 10 days on a single charge. Can't do that with an Apple watch! Easy to pair up with your phone (iOs or android both yes). The only thing my Apple watch could do that this one can't is answer a phone call. Not a deal breaker in my book. But I do get alerts if I have an incoming call and can decline it if I wish. There are plenty of free watch faces to choose from, or you can purchase some for pennies. I can seriously brag and brag on this little guy all day. And the strap that comes with it is super comfy and can fit a very tiny wrist up to a larger one. Display is top shelf. Bright and robust. You can read the screen indoors or outdoors very easily. You can adjust the brightness to your liking. Charges fully from zero in about an hour. Haptics work as well as you would expect one to. It's a super nice piece to look at. Now I just need to shop for some bands to interchange with. I can't complain about this watch....its perfect in every way!! If you're concerned about getting one....don't be. Get it! You won't regret it.

Been wearing for 3 weeks so far. Pros -Beautiful watch. Very soft color, looks even lighter pink than the picture, almost like a soft grey/white in some light, which I love. -Battery life - hands down, fantastic. I’ve been getting 10 days use out of each charge, and couldn’t be happier. My two year old Fitbit had to be charged every 36 hours. -Screen is amazing - bright, sensitive to the touch, works very well. You can choose what background you like, even upload your favorite picture from your phone and make that your background, plus customize display appearance - top notch. Display brightness is adjustable so that it doesn’t glare at night or drain down battery as quickly if you prefer dimmer screen. -Many apps, I have little need for most of them. -Sleep tracker is a lot of fun - the app that links with the watch has great data and tips to get more quality rest. -Two of my favorite unexpected features are the easy-to-use timer which I find so helpful with my chores and with cooking and the night light. -Armband material is fantastic - soft, supple, comfortable to the touch, yet seems durable. Love how the loose end tucks into the band. Great design. Cons -Step accuracy. I did a side-by-side comparison with my Fitbit luxe (wore both the Amazfit and the Fitbit on the same arm for several hours) and the Amazfit only counts 67% of the steps that the Fitbit counts. I confirmed which tracker was the accurate one by watching the devices count as I took steps back and forth and indeed, the Fitbit counts steps that the Amazfit misses. Amazfit customer service was very responsive about the issue, made sure that I felt my concerns were heard, BUT made no promise to fix the problem in the immediate future. They instructed me to always make sure my arm swings when I walk to ensure all my steps are counted (this is impossible for me.) They also promised to take my comments into consideration. My comment to them was to design the watch to detect footfall, not just arm swing. -Fit - Amazfit instructs users to wear the watch snugly. I have always preferred to wear my watch more loosely, so I have struggled to get used to this, and find I’m constantly fidgeting with and adjusting the band for comfort.

I bought this watch and I'm very satisfied. It has three features I love: it's beautiful, functional, and comfortable. The battery lasts for several days without needing to be charged, and it connects quickly to the phone. The app is clear and comprehensive. It's a great price, and I highly recommend it. 10 out of 10.

I got the Amazfit GTR Mini for my wife as a surprise gift, and she absolutely loves it. The design is sleek and elegant, not bulky at all, which makes it perfect for her wrist. The 1.69-inch display is clear and vibrant, and she finds it very easy to use. She’s been tracking her workouts, heart rate, and even her sleep, and she’s impressed with how accurate it is. The battery life has also been excellent—she goes for days without needing to recharge. Best of all, she tells me she feels more motivated to stay active and organized with it. Definitely one of the best gifts I’ve given her, both practical and stylish

I bought this strictly for running, being used to dedicated Garmin watches. If for all-around use, like as with a FitBit, this would be a good watch, with HR, step, sleep monitoring, etc. I liked the simple touch screen display. However, for dedicated running: 1. I could not set the display to stay on (in spite of there being a setting for "always on") - it constantly dimmed out, and I would have to wait a moment or two while running for the screen to re-illuminate when I raised my wrist to look at data; not ideal when you want to keep your eyes on the road; 2. I could not find a way to easily program custom runs (like an interval workout); 3. I feel that there are too many button-pushes/menu-navigation steps to just go directly to a running workout; 4. There are extra steps (going to a separate screen) to do a simple stopwatch pause while running; 5. In spite of a photo in product images showing a map display on the watch, this actually requires extra steps to upload a self-created map route to the watch - rather cumbersome; 6. I could not get the compass to register in spite of moving the watch in the required figure-of-8 motions for so many minutes that I began to feel like a fool. Good features: 1. Lightweight, sleek, streamlined size; 2. Intuitive, easy-to-navigate on-screen menus; 3. Customizable data fields on the display; 4. Bright, easy-to-read display (when it's not repeatedly fading out); 5. Many watch faces with nice display graphics to choose from; 6. Great battery life; 7. Great app (Android in my case) with nice post-run graphics and copious data displayed; 8. Seemingly accurate HR monitor; 9. Great value for the money. In short, this would have made for a good, fun, cheap, all-around smart watch, but fell short for more serious dedicated running (and presumably other exercises).

I love this thing. I wear it all the time! I used to have an Apple Watch but my battery would die so quickly and I would always forget to charge it. THIS WATCH HAS SUCH AN AMAZING BATTERY LIFE! I only have to charge it probably every 4-5 days? Depending on how much I use it. I wear this watch to workout and love how it tracks my fat burning calories vs. my overall calorie burn. It accurately tracks my heart rate AND can track stress levels. As someone with anxiety I really like this feature. I was worried that this watch wouldn’t connect well to my phone like the Apple Watch does, but I get notifications for all my text messages and phone calls on this thing! I’m not very tech savvy so I havent even begun to tap into all the features, but I love that the app on your phone connects to the watch and makes tracking things super easy. This watch has made me more aware of my health for sure. It’s also super durable. I work a lot with my hands, and I’ve banged this thing on so many things and it doesn’t have a single scratch (that’s without a screen protector too). I dont think I’d ever pay the money for an Apple Watch again after having this watch. Beginner friendly but with advanced features you can use if you want.

I'll preface this with I do thousands of miles of endurance training every year - so I have a good bit of experience with HR monitors and data. My wife wanted an inexpensive watch for steps in general, tracking hikes up a local mountain with GPS to monitor progress, and monitor HR while doing so. She will not wear a HR strap - but this watch is no substitute for one. This device is OK for very light activity - but for anything more strenuous, it's junk. My Garmin Venu (one of their "lifestyle" fitness watches) is also less than stellar and has to be told you are in an activity to actually detect the correct HR as you ramp up intensity - but it at least does adjust when you tell it you're about to start something harder than rest - so it's quite a bit better than this watch. Nothing my wife does with it enables it to track her HR rising from 70 to 180 BPM as she starts the climb. It often gets stuck in at 100-140 BPM when her pulse is 180 . Sometimes it will suddenly catch the right HR, but usually only after we reach the top, 30+ minutes later! Nothing has resolved this after many hikes - tried different positions, tried picking different activities that the watch might expect a higher cardio load and find the right HR - no go. Aside from that - it works fine, battery life is fantastic, and it's very thin. It is also one of the most inexpensive GPS trackers you can find, and no subscription fee. So, she decided to keep it - but I would have sent it back.

Sus acabados son agradables y su funcionamiento bastante adecuado.

Desde el primer momento, lo amé, la batería me duró la primera vez casi 15 días en uso normal de reloj, conectado al cel y usándolo cuando hago ejercicio, me gustan los relojes grandes y este me encantó, el color es bellísimo, pues aunque es como rosa muy clarito, a veces se ve como gris o casi blanco, justo lo que buscaba, un buen reloj, grande, de buena marca, con mucha opciones de caratulas y sobre todo que la pila le durara varios días, al principio le batalle para que se conectara al celular, pero agarrándole el modo, es bien rápido, lo recomiendo al 100%

I had not heard of Amazfit brand before, until my son bought one for his gf. You can gauge quality immediately from the website, which is nicely put together and nice graphics. These watches are hard to find to try in shops, so I wanted to try one. Immediately out the box you can see this is high quality, with nice touches like the engraved button control and high polish finish, plus high quality graphics. The setup out the box is uber-easy and it was up and running quickly. The Zepp app has lots of functionality and connects well to see any trails and maps in lots of detail. The watch is very light and low in profile, so you hardly know you are wearing it. The strap tucks in the strap and so doesn't catch on clothing and easy to wear overnight for sleep tracking. The heart rate and blood O2 are impressive and if not absolute at least give trends and alerts. I used the watch for some mountain biking and hikes and it tracks nicely and accurate. I was concerned about privacy as one reviewer couldn't find it on the Amazfit website, but its there and similar to Apple, Garmin etc. This smartwatch puts it ahead of the competition costing 2 or 3 x the price. I have had Samsung Watch5 (only works on Android), Garmin but I'm certainly impressed with this GTR Mini and its price, functions and battery life.
