These WixGear magnetic mounts are amazing. The magnets are really strong, and my phone snaps into place instantly and stays secure even on bumpy roads. Installation took seconds - just peel, stick, and it's ready to go. I like that you get two in the pack, so I used one in my car and one in my truck. They're small, sturdy, and don't take up space on the dashboard. Overall, great quality and totally worth it. Highly recommend!

Nice to have if you have other magnetic mounts. I have these in my van in different places to just have a place to hang the phone safely. Worked great on my last road trip holding the phones on bumpy roads and trails.

Great items, very strong magnets and good stick. I have both mounted to the left and right of my 2018 Grand Cherokee 8.4" UConnect display. The sticking pads are wider than the trim is, but enough grab is there for them to stick properly with no issues.

First, I purchased these cell phone mounts in September 2020. I have loved them and still love them, even after one broke. I prefer a stick-on mount over a suction mount because it stays put. In contrast, all suction mount cell phone mounts lose their suction after a few months and need to be re-mounted and over time, the suction cup becomes less pliable and it doesn't stay put for any reasonable amount of time. Also, I like the ability to just place the phone on the mount and being able to take it off without needing to release anything. The one downfall with magnetic mounts is that if the phone has any wireless charging, the thin metal plate interferes with that ability to do so. The metal plate must either be mounted on the phone itself or a phone case if you have one. The latter is preferable because you will not mess up the phone by adhering a metal plate to it and you could always take off the case to charge wirelessly if needed. As for why I am writing the review, as I mentioned at the beginning, one of them broke. Specifically, it was the part that the ball goes into and the phone itself mounts on. The issue is that the threading on the part broke. This is because instead of being a full cylinder surrounded by threads, it must be four pieces to allow it to squeeze together a bit to tighten the grip around the ball joint. The threads are made of plastic. In conjunction with this being in a car where the temperature can go from well over 100 degrees to the 70s in a matter of minutes in the summer after one turns on any air conditioning, I would think plastic is less able to handle that than it was made out of metal. So if the mount is loose in the summer, instead of just tightening it more, it should be taken off and checked to make sure the plastic is not already cracked. If you look at the picture I included, you will notice three of the four parts that the threads are molded into are broken off. I will say that it was not difficult to just take off the mount to place another one on after getting it. Also, if needed for some reason, the magnetic portion from the part in the picture can be removed by removing a screw so one could reuse it. However, as I mentioned, I love this mount. That is why I purchase another set. I would have given it 3 1/2 stars if that were possible since I feel that it is in the 3 1/2 to 4-star range, leaning more to the 3 1/2 stars though.

Works great, I run in the gas and oil field. If your familiar, you know how bad these back coumtry roads are in Pennsylvania. My phone is locked into place with this... AAA+++

The magnet is really strong, and the phone does stick well, but it doesn’t adhere properly to the dashboard. Also, even if it does stay in place at first, if the weather gets a bit warmer or the dashboard heats up in the sunlight, it will fall off . But I still like this brand

WixGear is great and has a very responsive magnet. 4 stars only because I bought this for my wife's car and due to the angle she couldnt use it., definitely double check tat the angle will work, they are very sleek and hold close to the dash so it also depends on size of phone, angle of dashboard or wherever you want to mount it, other than that it is not gaudy like others and fades nicely into the dashboard.
