Sof Sole Insoles Men's High Arch Performance Full-Length Foam Shoe Insert

I never write reviews. Ever. But I felt like if I could help another high arch sufferer that went through months of leg pain, I'm writing a review. So I've had my Brooks Ghost 10 shoes for a few years. Ran in them a lot, lift weights in them, walk around the house in them, etc. However, I started getting really bad sciatica and leg pain for the past few months. So bad, I thought I had a blood clot in my leg. In any case, the doctor at the ER mentioned that I had really high arches. I never really thought of them as THAT high, but alas, I thought it was worth addressing. I found these on amazon -- something made specifically for high arches and holy moley.... my world has been changed. While it took a day or two to get used to almost a lumber-like support in my shoe, my back and leg pain have gone. (Although I am doing some awesome daily stretching to help the sciatica, too). But it's like I have brand new shoes without having to spend $100+. They fit perfectly in my narrow size 8.5 Brooks Ghost 10 shoes. No trimming needed. Great support at the gym when lifting weights, too. If you are a high arch or sciatica sufferer -- give these a whirl. They are worth the $$$.

I bought these for my grandmother who is 90, she carries a bit of weight and said that these are really comfortable on her ankle and knee joints. I am going to buy another pair in the men’s for my grandfather and brother.

I use the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles for my standard issued military boots. If you have ever worn a standard military boot, the shoes do not come with any sort of arch support. It has a flat slope for the inner bed, and walking around all day with those boots makes my back hurt. Now, I do not purport to whine and complain when gears are heavy, but a flat arch support (or the lack thereof) does not help with the situation. After much consideration, I have decided to give insoles a try. I decided to purchase this particular brand because of the reviews. As it had with the many other people who have reviewed this product, I am really satisfied the way it worked out for me. First of all, the insoles fit inside my boots perfectly, from toe to heel. It didn't require any kind of cutting or adjusting whatsoever. However, I may have gotten just lucky. Second, the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles stays in place when I am walking, running, crouching, or doing other activities that require big motion gestures and movements, so that was nice. Most importantly, not only my back stopped hurting, but my calfs began to feel different. I do not know how to word this quite eloquently, but my calfs feel loosened from being "stretchy" all the time. It is a weird feeling, it is something that I do not express often, so please bear with me here. Imagine a sensation that pulls your calf in every direction, from heels to the place where it bends inward at the knees, side to side, inside out, the entire calf portion of the leg pulling. Now, imagine a sensation that releases that tension. I am not a doctor or physical therapist or anything, but the Sof Sole Arch Performance Insoles may be distributing the pressure on the foot to the places where it is appropriate. Anyway, the point that I am trying to make here is that these soles made me feel good about buying them.
