Neotech 801012 Case Sling

Q: I don’t understand how it attaches. My son has an alto sax with a hard case that he needs to bike to school with on his back.

This is more of a shoulder strap that goes on 1 shoulder. My son’s hard trombone case has rings to clip this strap onto. He used for band camp that he had to walk some distance from dorm to building and it worked well. He still uses now to bring to lessons or concerts.

Q: Does this work for trombone case?

If you have eyelets for a strap, it works beautifully. I have used them with several different gig bags and cases. It's nice and wide, which keeps it from digging into your shoulder.

Q: Would this be long enough for a cello case?

I'm not sure about the size of a cello case. If it would help my 12 year old son uses it for a hard trombone case. The sling is very nice & adjustable. There is still room to make the sling longer. Trombone case about 3 foot long. Hope this helps.

It's a single strap, with a stretchy bit. It handles my heavy, hard violin case quite nicely. The stretchiness eases the weight of the case.
