Aquila 96C Guilele Strings Set

Before we start allow me to say that I am NOT a huge fan of aquila strings on ukuleles. I did originally like them, but find now that they seem a little brash and brittle to my ears. Nothing wrong with the strings, just that my tastes have changed. However..... Believe me when I say that stringing almost any guitalele with these aquilas WILL produce a much better instrument than the manufacturers strings. I have done several now, including my own yamaha gl1 and a recent antonio carvalho solid koa. In both cases the improvement in intonation, playability and tone ( not to mention volume) has been out of all proportion to the price of the upgrade. Try them - you will NOT be disappointed.

High quality and nice strings for my Yamaha Guitalele. Sound much nicer than the ones that came with it!

Better than the original Yamaha strings, but I prefer the Aquila red series (A tuning)

Bought a set of these strings as a replacement to the ones which came with a new Yamaha GL1. Have used Aquila before on ukuleles and tended to prefer fluorocarbon, but thought I'd try them on the guitalele and I can say these Nylgut strings are absolutely charming. They have excellent sustain, projection and an interesting character in the sound like a slight compression and texture. They sound a bit better tuned down a semi-tone to G# to my preference and my guitalele sounds like a mini lute with gut strings which sustain like silver bells.

Good enough sound for a guitalele. Seem to have worn out quite quickly, but then I have been playing the guitalele a lot.

Sound better than the original strings. Lovely action. Much better than I expected. Highly recommended 🤓

Great for Yamaha GL1 Guitarlele

Changed the strings on my Yamaha guitalele for these, big Improvement. Very pleased with this product. Edit 22.02.23 Had 2 sets of these now, the G string seems to break after a few months of use - dropped a star

Bon son, bon feeling. Ces cordes plus fines permettent de jouer nos guitaleles plus confortablement, sans toucher la corde adjacente. Je les utilise aussi sur ma petite guitare 1/2 Patenotte, qui a un manche très étroit (43mm au sillet, 45mm à la 1ère frette), sillet de guitalele donc. Par contre sur cette guitare qui a un diapason de 540mm, accordage en Fa (voir Fa#...)

No se identifican las cuerdas, en un paquete vienen agrupadas de la primera a la tercera y en otro de la cuarta a la sexta pero no indica cual es cual
