Purchase these for emergencies you hope you never have. I've had to use the remover tool and that thing worked perfect. Saved me $120 the hospital was trying to charge me to remove the staples.

I haven't used the stapler, but I used the staple remover to take 2 staples out of my dog's head. It was important to me for the items to be sterile, and they are. I've removed stitches easily, but this was the first time removing staples and the tool worked very well! There was very little play in my dog's skin and I was concerned I would have trouble getting the tool positioned, but piece of cake. Even though stitch and staple removal is "free" at my vet's, the low cost of this set made it much faster and easier. No time wasted driving and parking and all that. My dog wasn't stressed by the whole thing and the staples were out faster than I could have loaded her in the car.

I use this all the time on myself, have bought multiple ones of this same one. (I do self harm, that’s why) it’s easy to use and painless, atleast I think so. Easy to take out with the tool they give you. My doctor even approves.

The staples hurt going in, specially if the wound hasn’t been infiltrated with local anesthesia. It’s a similar kind of the ones used in hospitals.
