Flex Seal Spray Flood Protection Review for Coop Interior
I've got to share a little trick I've used with the Flex Seal Spray Flood Protection. You see, I've been concerned about droppings damaging the wood inside my chicken coop, and this stuff has been a real lifesaver. Pros: Waterproofing: Flex Seal lives up to its name when it comes to sealing out moisture. I sprayed it on the coop's interior walls and floor, creating a waterproof barrier that keeps the wood safe from any mess. Durable: This stuff forms a strong, flexible barrier that doesn't crack or peel, even when faced with the constant wear and tear of a chicken coop. Easy Application: Applying it was a breeze. I didn't need any special equipment, and it adhered well to the wood surfaces. Cons: Ventilation: While it's great for keeping moisture out, it's essential to ensure proper ventilation in the coop to avoid any buildup of fumes. I made sure to have adequate ventilation in place. Coverage: Depending on how large your coop is, you might need multiple cans to ensure thorough coverage. In the end, using Flex Seal Spray Flood Protection for my coop's interior has been a smart move. It's added a layer of protection to the wood, helping it withstand the challenges of housing chickens while making cleanup a breeze. Plus, it's just one more step toward my goal of ensuring a comfortable retirement, knowing my investments are well-protected – whether in the stock market or in my coop!

Goes on easy. Nice bright yellow. Sticks well to PLA plastic.
Goes on easy. Nice bright yellow. Sticks well to PLA plastic. I made a tool in a 3D printed box about 11" long and wanted to use this product to give it some protection against drops and impact. I did five coats, waiting about 45 minutes in between coats. Painted under a vent hood because it has a strong smell.

WASTE OF MONEY, DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED
I've been using Flex Seal products for years but had never needed flood protection before. I thought this was going to come out a little thicker, filling in gaps and cracks. NOT. This product comes out in a very thin liquid, making it impossible to stay in place. You spray it, and it just slides right down. The spray is extremely wide. Whatever you're spraying, you'll have to cover everything behind, beside, above and below it. Since it doesn't actually stay where you spray it, expect huge globs of it to drop off underneath whatever you spray. Doesn't matter if you wear gloves, this wide spray gets on EVERYTHING. Fumes are noxious, will need LOTS of ventilation if you do buy it.

Awful. Do not buy.
This stuff sprays in a very wide path. Which makes useless for a normal seam. Even worse is trying to get off. Absolutely difficult!!!!

Misleading information
The product is impossible to remove once applied. So if you use it,plan on spending days trying to get it off. We weren't successful and it made our doorway look aweful

Not impressed
This product is supposed to be waterproof, but I put it on the inside of a flower pot to keep the water from coming through. Did not work. Not impressed with the product.
