Right from the box this was a no hassle operation. The base fits onto the unit only one way. Four screws hold the base plate firmly in place. Instruction manual is easily understood and quick to follow. The two "ice packs" really improve the quality of the cool air flow from the fan. Remote control is an appreciated feature. With the increased 90 degree plus days per week this has proven to be an added backup to my Central AC. Fan is easily moved from room to room when needed. IT is well build ad sturdy.

I've owned 2 of these. The newer one (this product) wasn't as good as the previous model. To be fair, we have hard water and I don't expect the fan to last for very long. But both of them did the job of turning an overheated upstairs bedroom into a manageable area. My computer thanks me for purchasing this fan, and maybe yours will, too. I'm going to buy another one next year or the year after.

So disappointed. I was excited to open and start using AC just to realize that the pump looks odd. I’m no expert, but it is obvious. I’m giving it one star because it took a very long time to get it, unable to use it and the customer response was ok, but “they have to get back to me once a technician is able to evaluate the problem”. I will change my review once I hear back from the company.All good. Company called back and issue resolved. I just wished the tiny hose was a tiny bit longer for an easier way to accommodate the pump into its spot.

I used this in my baby’s room when our AC broke and it really cooled the room down! The ice packs don’t really stay cool for long at all so I just fill the water reservoir with ice completely and fill it in with water. According to the baby monitor it cooled down her room about 10 degrees within 30ish minutes. It’s not the most aesthetic but it does what it’s supposed to

Good build quality, pretty quite, will move a decent amount of air. Will not lower the temperature of even a small room at all. If the fan is pointed in your general direction and is on the swamp cooler setting it does a pretty good job of cooling you off. If you are buying this fan with the expectation that it will lower the temperature of a room, it absolutely will not do that. Even with the ice packs or cubes in the water. My experience is that it will make the room alot more humid while the temp stays the same. Which is even more unpleasant. Again, it is a good fan but definitely not for the cost.

I was very excited to try this fan. When I saw the video it seemed very promising. However, the screws, manual and remote control were missing in the package. I was able to get the screws, kept watching the video (instead of the actual manual) and was able to put it up. The fan works ok, but you do need to keep freezing the ice packets after a couple of hrs. I wish there was a way to lower the temperature in its own settings (though, I understand it’s not an actual AC) but its thermometer keeps reading 84+ degrees and never goes down. I thought about returning it right away but I decided to keep it since it was better then no fan at all during this extreme heat weather🥵

The media could not be loaded. I bought this because I have a small living room and this works great for me.It was a bit dodgy trying to figure out the directions at first as the little booklet that comes with it is not complete.But after some experimenting I have figured out how it works. It’s pretty simple really. You fill the tank from the top and if you want it to blow cooler you place one of the two bottles provided for freezing in the bottom of the fan (on back). It makes the water cooler and so it blows cooler air.I keep it about 6 feet away from where I sit. I leave the oscillator on and it keeps me nice and comfortable. When the ice bottle melts you just switch to the one in the freezer and viola it stays cool!So far I am happy with this tower fan and the price was reasonable too.I have been using it for almost two weeks now and everything is working great so far.

This is a great fan. I bought it last month and it's helped though a couple of hot snaps we've had here in northwestern Washington. Add water and Ice, and it makes a difference in my lil apartment. I would definitely recommend to those wanting either augment central AC, or use as a stand alone unit in a bedroom.
