Taste is perfect, can't really taste the protein at all just the flavors. 20g scoop sometimes I'll double depending on what exercise I do before. Blending is very easy if you have a shaker, but in a blender sometimes will clump up. 5/5 from me!

I hate to give a low review because I believe in animal-free whey, but I don’t like the added flavor. It’s sweet but in a bad and overpowering/artificial way (and I am by no means anti-artificial flavors/sweeteners). I would prefer to have the option to buy an unflavored animal-free whey protein to add to my smoothies/shakes. Based on animal-free whey protein I have tried from other brands I feel like the thing really holding these types of products back are the awful flavors being offered to consumers. I think we want a clean neutral tasting animal-free alternative to conventional whey… Whey just tastes better and mixes more easily than plant protein so it should be an easy sell to those following a plant-based diet, but these companies have found a way to make it a hard sell. The future for animal-free whey isn’t looking too bright… just my thoughts.

Love the taste

I used to get the Myprotein non-vegan whey protein before I went vegan so I was excited to try the animal free whey. I've tried many vegan whey protein powders before without having any physical response but after drinking this one, some ingredient in it made me incredibly nauseated/disoriented with stomach pain.I've never had a response to a food like this. No issues with artificial sweeteners or anything. Hopefully they figure out what ingredient is causing these issues and improve the formula because I love that they're using Perfect Day and supporting advancement towards a cruelty-free future!

At the time......I ordered this and wrote this review, there were no images of the "Nutrition Facts"/"Supplement Facts" label.Also, no ingredient listing.For me, a deal breaker when ordering food/drinks/drink mixes, is what are the "net carbs"?The product headline and package both say "sugar free" which for me, is always a good start.So, the "net carbs" in a one scoop serving of this (powder) is 3; (4 carbs minus 1 gram fiber).Personally, I'd like to see that number lower, but will allow myself to drink this (other proteins I have are around 1-2 grams).It is sweetened with sucralose and acesulfame potassium.There are cookie pieces in this which do list sugar as part of the cookie piece ingredients.I mixed one scoop of this with 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk.Here's what I did:The package suggests one scoop of this mixed with 6 - 8 ounces of liquid.I took a shaker bottle with a 14 ounce capacity, poured 8 ounces of cold almond milk in it, poured one scoop of this over that, capped the bottle and shook it for precisely 30 seconds.After 30 seconds of shaking the bottle, this mixed well and completely.I would call the intensity of flavor to be a 6.5 on a 10 scale, with 10 being the highest.I would call the intensity of sweetness to be about the same as the flavor intensity, on that 10 scale.In a blind taste test, I think I would be able to identify the actual flavor as "creamy mint chocolate chip".The "front end" flavor (that first hits your mouth) using almond milk makes me think of Mint Chip Ice Cream.It's pretty delicious; so many protein powders just have wimpy flavor intensity; this, with unsweetened almond milk is de-lish, and almost as de-lish with water.Glad I ordered.I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision.I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

I am so glad there is a protein my partner can not only stomach but actually enjoy the taste. Whether it is making mint chocolate vegan greek yogurt, or drinking it in a shaker with water, we always enjoy this protein powder. We will definitely be keeping this as a staple in our daily morning shakes.

It is just too sweet for me. I am okay with the quantity and everything, and I know it contains sweetener, but m unbearably sweet. I have to add dark cocoa to get that chocolate bitterness. Would definitely not buy this flavor again!Update:The worst product ever! It made my stomach update and I had continuous vomiting. Hate everything about this product!

Had it maybe 3 times before it started giving me terrible stomach aches. I thought lactose is the thing you are supposed to be intolerant to...
