Nice, Love Them
I bought the Cooking Spoon and the Right Handed Corner Spoon together. These things are huge. Going to take a little getting used to. But so far, I'm in love. I knew from the Specs in the description. These spoons were going to be larger than the ones I've been cooking with and bought these to replace. But, it's one of those things. Where you just can't wrap your head around the difference in size. Until you actually have them in your hands. Hopefully you can grasp the size difference from the picture. I love the fact that they're made from Teakwood. Which has natural oils and resins to protect them from drying out then cracking or splitting. With proper care, these should turn into Family Heirlooms. To increase the chances of doing so. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions. Washed them thoroughly with warm mild-soapy water. Toweled them dry then laid them out to finish air drying completely. After which, I applied a light coat of Mineral Oil. Then just as I do with my Teakwood Cutting Boards. After an hour or so. I came back to see if they had absorbed the Mineral Oil. Which they had, so I applied another light coat. This time after an hour they hadn't fully absorbed the Mineral Oil. So I let them sit overnight. The next morning there was just the slightest hint of Mineral Oil showing. So, I knew they didn't need any more oiling. I then wiped them down to remove he excess oil and buffed them to a nice smooth sheen. They are gorgeous, another thing I like about Teakwood. The grain patterns are beautiful and only get more so, with age and repeated treatments of Mineral Oil... when needed. Which with my Teakwood Cutting Boards. Is much less often than my Bamboo or Maple Cutting/Serving boards. I don't know what other reviewers were doing with, or to their spoons. To cause them to become chipped or cracked. But for me, so far - so good. No signs of chipping or cracking. Though still getting used to their larger size. I really enjoy cooking with these spoons.

Nice spoon
Good size and shape to the bowl of the spoon. The teakwood seems to be holding up so far better than some other wooden spoons I’ve had. The handle is a nice comfortable shape as well

My first impression was wow! It looks and feels great.
I have never owned a real wooden spoon. My first impression was wow! It looks and feels great. Now I have to do some baking to try it out. Appears to be very sturdy and I think it feels good in my hand. I believe that it will be safe on coated surfaces. I also do not think that it will carry over tastes - I will have to test this. I believe that the price is fair for what I got. I have not really tried stirring a large variety of mixtures, but so far so good. Over all I am pleased with the purchase.

Very finely made, not your average wood spoon, what a great deal!
I can’t believe these are only $12 or so. Very nicely made, beautiful to look at, with a smooth but tactile, not-slippery surface. The handles are tapered slightly and not round in profile, so they add a level of control and dexterity I’m not accustomed to, and give you a lot of leverage. Note these are hand wash, and need a coat of food-grade mineral oil periodically, like a fine cutting board. They are not indestructible, so if that’s what you want, look elsewhere. These are nothing like the bamboo spoons in the mesh bag in your grocery store’s kitchen gadgets aisle. They are precisely made.

Quality
Beautiful quality spoon that gets used near constantly - you can't go wrong with this one. It is comfortable to use, not too large or heavy - well balanced. I would never put wood utensils through the dishwasher.

Better than expected. Highly recommend. Good value.
Researched best wooden spoon on internet and this was #2 but I liked it best. Even so it exceeded expectations. Beautifully crafted. Good weight. Good hand feel. Didn't realize how much better this would work in pot so better and more enjoyable than expected. Thin lip on end was a big plus. Gave it a work out with a big pot of chili. As recommended by another reviewer before using I applied pharmaceutical/food grade mineral oil, wrapped loosely in plastic wrap and left overnight, wiped off and did it again next day then wiped and lightly washed with a little dish detergent and water before using. Easy to clean. Not all wooden spoons are created equal. Highly recommend this spoon. Good value.

Beautiful but too fragile for its purpose
I love the look and feel of this - and it would serve well as a toy, or an object to display part of an art installation. But as an actual device one would hope to use in a kitchen, mixing foodstuffs or being in contact with kitchenware, it is hapless, as the teak is so fragile that it will start to chip if you look at it the wrong way. Mine lasted maybe a month, which is several years less than any other wooden spoon I've owned in decades of wooden spoon-using.
