I bought the two pin version of these to wire in the bilge-pump of my narrowboat. This needs to be periodically removed for servicing and cleaning and these little connectors facilitate that. I have also found them useful for numerous other tasks where the ability to disconnect a 12V component easily is required or helpful, there is also a locking latch which prevents them from pulling apart once connected. The brass terminals are crimped onto the cable then inserted into the back of the plug/socket housing where they lock securely into place, you then simply push them together for a quick and easy connection.

this kit is very good,however when the male adaptors are made, they move a little in the holder, so sometimes hard to line up with female connector.

I found the pins were bit loose when you push them into the block I found that you have to bend the locking tab out fair bit to get it to lock in position. Other than that they seem to be good value for money, they did what I needed and that was to extend a wire on motorbike with the three pin connector. For the money good enough for me but I dont use this type of thing everyday. Had no issues so far has been fitted few weeks now. Just to note I did use heat shrink insulation as well just to be on safe side with water ingress.

I found these easy to use (as long as you have the correct crimping tool) and the selection of different sizes was perfect for what I needed. They make a good solid connection. The only thing I did was to pry open the locking pins a little bit more to improve the pin locking into place.
