InterlogixTX-E221 Recessed Door/Window Sensor

This sensor was easy to install and easy for the system to learn. It works well. The magnetic part is not as tight fitting as I would like, so I put some tape around it.If this is what you need, this is the one you should get.

My alarm works great again , alarm company sent the wrong sensor, took a week . Amazon sent the right sensor in two days

The information the website indicated it was the exact replacement for the unit I had. However, when it was received, it was not the same size as the one I was replacing. This was partially due to the fact that the type battery in the old and new units are not the same. So the new unit is longer than the old one, and also smaller diameter. So I had to drill the hole int the door deeper and wrap the casing to make it fit the larger original hole. I contacted my security carrier and they assisted me with the installation and all it working well.

I needed a replacement as one of my old (4year old) sensors failed due to physical damage and not wear.These sync up well with smart things.

Love that these are hidden - much better than the unsightly sensors I was using before. Work perfectly and the battery will be easy to change when the time comes.

Delivered 27 Nov 2020. Had it installed the following week. Last week it ceased operating. Tech checked out system to include panels as well as other same model sensors. All checked good except the newest installed in Dec of 2020. Recourse...? GE alarm system parts are in short supply and local companies don't have back stock partseither so alarm company recommended I order one. I did, and...now inop. Would appreciate seller replacing item.

Replaced front door and needed new recessed door sensor for Simon XTi, arrived on time, easy installation, worked perfectly. Very Satisified

Ad indicated it could be used in windows... not so much... They are way to big for most windows.
