These are handy little diffusers when you don't want to plug them in. I think I used 10-12 drops of essential oil, but it seems to stop spreading scent after an hour. I also used the plug in with my phone charger, it was the same as with batteries. I bought 2 of these and do like them, just wish they'd last longer without adding more oil.

It is very pretty with the changing lights which is all I can think that it's good for. I'm using it with batteries, but that shouldn't make that much of a different in the fan. The fan does run and I've saturated the little scent pad that comes with. (There are extras so that's a good thing.) However, I can stick my nose right next to it and barely smell the scent.I wanted something that would spread a scent at least around my workstation and this isn't it. Maybe if I worked in an office, it would be better. I just don't smell anything from just a few inches away.Based on that: If you want a night light, this would be a good choice. Pretty colors and the pattern is nice. It does go through batteries fast so make sure you have a good supply. Not at all what I wanted, but it is pretty to look at.Update as June 14 2024I've had this just a month and it's stopped working. It wasn't expensive, but I would have expected it to last more than 30 days. Based on the life of the product, I'm reducing my original 3 star review to 1 star.Not worth the money if it's only going work for 30 days. Not recommended for any reason.

I love this little essential oil diffuser. Even though it's plastic it really looks like carved wood. The changing colors are a big much for me, but there is an option to have no lights. It would be nice if you could choose just one color instead of only having it change from red to green to blue and so on. I used about 5 drops of essential oil on the pad and so far have run it for about 6 hours total. In about an hour, I've got a nice lingering scent in my bedroom before bed. Then I turn it off. A timer would be another nice feature, but for this price point, I'm quite satisfied with it. The fact that it's battery operated makes it nice for me since I can bring it along in my RV and not have to put it next to a plug.

Changing my review - batteries only lasted 6 hours - used usb cord the next day .Turned it on this morning and it doesn’t work at all - threw the box out so I’ll just trash it …😢Attractive, well made , simple operation, silent and scent is not overpowering - it does not fill a room just a small area around where is is placed .It was exactly what I was looking for so I purchased 2 more .

Didn't work

I wanted to love this for my RV. I like the usb or battery function when we’re not connected to power. The diffuser is pretty and works well. The scent is very weak however, I can’t smell it unless I’m standing right next to the diffuser.

Still does what it's supposed to do. Size, noise leave and ease of use. Still am wondering why the isr of batteries when it has a USB charging port.

Actually was surprised at how well this works, especially in a smaller room. I like that it's portable, without sloshing water, and can use either plug in or battery. I've even used it in my car. The fan mechanism technically does not diffuse essential oils the same as an atomizer or ultra-sonic device, and I think I might have to use more oil to work well than one of those, but for it's simplicity it's great. And stylish.
