From manual brushing to automatic brushing!
I can't believe I waited this long to switch. This is my first time ever using an electric toothbrush, and I am seriously surprised by its effectiveness. My teeth have honestly never felt cleaner, it feels like I just walked out of a professional dental cleaning every single time I brush. One of the most useful features is the built-in timer. It pulses/vibrates every 30 seconds to let you know exactly when to switch to a different quarter section of your mouth. It completely takes the guesswork out of making sure you brush for the full recommended two minutes.Battery life has also been great. A single charge easily lasts for about a week, if not slightly longer, which is perfect since I don't have to keep the charging base cluttering up my bathroom counter all the time. Before buying, I noticed this model is highly recommended by many reviewers due to its incredible bang for the buck. Now that I've been using it, I totally agree. You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on a fancy toothbrush to get amazing results. Highly recommend!

True longevity & happy to purchase 2 more
Oral-B Pro 1000 Rechargeable Toothbrush has not disappointed me. Iโve had my own since 2019. It still functions beautifully. The one thing Iโve noticed is the battery charge doesnโt last as long as it did when it was new. I could go 2 weeks or more without charging. Now itโs about 1 week & I need to charge. I do brush morning & night for the full 2 minutes. I love everything about it. I donโt have sensitive teeth thus my teeth can handle the deep cleaning it provides. I really donโt recommend this if you do have sensitive teeth as I feel it would be too harsh. The timing function works wonderfully for it tells me when to move onto the next area of my mouth. โขโขTo prevent a yukky mess that drips down I have learned 2 things: I thoroughly run water under the brush while itโs running to fully clean it. This, however, doesnโt prevent yuk from your brushing from forming down where the brush head meets the toothbrush. I became tired of a toothbrush that had dried toothpaste on it even though I thought cleaning the head was enough. Unfortunately the yuk does collect at that area & begins the mess. To prevent that I do now take the head of the brush every time I use it now. I just sit in to side in a dry cloth. Hence a clean brush.Since my purchase Iโve purchased 2 more. One for my husband who was told by his Dentist he needed an electric toothbrush because he was developing gingivitis. He loves it because itโs so easy to brush now. The toothbrush does all the work. At first he was doing the brushing & ruined the head a little. So a reminder this does the brushing for you. You only need to move the brush around your mouth. Since having mine I havenโt had one cavity. One thing my hygienist did mention when I first got it was I wasnโt getting high enough to my upper gums. Now I make sure I do. I also purchased one for my 15yo Son as his Pediatric Dentist said it was okay & recommended that he start early with an excellent choice in toothbrushes. For $50- the price hasnโt changed since 2019 - this is well worth getting. For multiple reasons as I feel I thoroughly cleans my teeth. Once I began using this my mouth felt clean & fresh & it does every time I use it. I also feel using an electric toothbrush has saved $ Iโd be spending on dental bills. The cost always swayed me away from making the purchase but Iโm glad I did. Obviously since mine still works since 2019 thereโs definite genuine quality with Oral-B. The box does state it comes with a 2 year limited warranty & there is a 60 day risk free trial. The paperwork details are in the box. For all Iโve written I highly recommend this Oral-B electric toothbrush & I donโt feel youโll be disappointed. โขโขI do not purchase genuine Oral-B brush heads. From the beginning Iโve purchased a generic version from Amazon which have worked perfectly. My pictures reflect how nicely itโs packaged upon its arrival.

Oral-B Pro 1000 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush is a High-Quality Product!
I purchased โOral-B Pro 1000 Rechargeable Electric Toothbrushโ on the recommendation of my dental hygienist, who suggested the brand to help manage my gingivitis. After my previous Oral-B lasted over a decade, I was happy to stick with the same reliable brand.I find this model to be extremely effective; it does all the hard work for me, and the built-in timer works perfectly. It is a high-quality product that offers great value and dependability. While I am giving it a 5-star rating, there are three minor drawbacks: the battery life is somewhat short, the motor is noticeably loud, and the power button can be a bit difficult to press, especially with wet hands. Despite these small issues, I highly recommend this toothbrush and am confident it won't disappoint!

Does a very good job on plaque
I have always used a standard manual brush. I was skeptical of electric because it seemed like the little head only moved in short back and forth spins (instead of complete circles) making it less effective. In addition, I assumed that you could not apply any pressure, or the head would stop moving. My dentist recommended I try one to help with plaque build up that I seem to accumulate quickly on the inside of my lower front teeth. So, I bought this one (my wife has had one a few years). Some observations:- It does a very good job keeping plaque off. I actually started using this brush halfway between dentist appointments. I found that it could not remove already present plaque (at least not what I had), but that once removed by the dentist, this brush does a great job keeping it off. Much better than a manual brush. For that alone I am sold.- The small size is very good for getting around back teeth / wisdom teeth. It also gets you to focus on a tooth at a time (vs. the sawing motion across many teeth) - which actually took no more time. Overall, a session might take very slightly longer than manual, but is certainly more thorough.- You can press down pretty hard, and the brush keeps oscillating. Although, in my experience, there is no need. I tend to use less pressure than a manual brush. While the brush head is doing a short back and forth spin (vs. a total 360), that seems just as effective (perhaps more so, since you get both directions of spin very quickly on all surfaces).- The brush does a pulsing vibration after 2 minutes. You can just ignore it and keep brushing. It also does much lighter pulses every 30 seconds, to help you time your session into groups of upper front, upper back, lower front, lower back. Again, you can ignore all this and just brush at your own pace.- If two people in the same bathroom are using this type of brush, there are two good options. One, have both people use the same base, and just switch out the head (they are color coded for this reason). Or two, give each person their own unit, but keep just one charging base out. The charge need is so infrequent, that its easy to just leave one brush standing on its own, and the other on the charger; then just switch out when a charge is needed. This clears up counter space and cords.- We have purchased the generic (and less expensive) replacement heads. In our experience, they were identical to the originals in materials and make. I am sure there is a lot of quality variation, but it was not hard to find good options.- My wife and I have what appear to be identical models, except we did one black, one white to make them easy to keep separate. Mine, the white, only turns off by pressing the off button 3 times (since it cycles through modes using the on/off button). This is the only thing I really do not like. The black one turns off with one click. Perhaps it is a setting, but we can find no way to change it. So, I find myself holding the brush in my mouth (to stop splatter) while finding the button (see below), and pressing 3 times.- The on off button is a little hard to press. It is flush and shallow. I always manage to get it on and off, but sometimes it is surprisingly hard. Recently, it would not turn on, and I thought it must have lost its charge. Turns out I just had to press very firmly. This can be a challenge when turning the unit off. You tend to keep it in your mouth (to prevent splatter), and so finding and pressing the button is sometimes a little harder than you would think. I think for most people, this is just a negative to be accepted. But for people who are older, or not dexterous in the hands, I think this would actually make the brush impossible to use.Overall, I am happy with it, because it prevents plaque, end of story. If I could change one thing, it would be a single press, easy press on\off button.

Best clean from a toothbrush ever
First of all I was very reluctant to get this because a lot of the reviewers were giving very negative feedback about this. I don't exactly agree that the problems are as bad. People were definitely complaining that the toothbrush is too slippery cuz there's less rubber grip and people are also saying that it's hard to turn it off. I definitely see those issues but they're not enough to say that it's not a good toothbrush since you can just get the next model up for closer to 75 to $100 or higher and get the one that's much better this is definitely more of a budget type toothbrush. The other thing is that it doesn't turn red when you're brushing too hard it just slows down instead and also there's no battery meter to tell you how much is left. These are all concerns but not if you're spending $40 on this device which I think is an amazing price for a machine that does the best clean of my teeth I've ever had. I literally feel like I just came back from the dentist every time I use this. This is much smaller than I'm used to but it's great it does get slippery but not enough to say that it's a flaw when you paid $40 for this really nice toothbrush. The toothbrush head is extremely soft and honestly I might only use this type of heads because it's just doing such a good job cleaning my teeth.

Good product
Been working good no issues. Good quality for the price. Had a higher end model same brand with more features but this one works good.

Great Electric Toothbrush
Works as advertised. My wife and I have been using Sonic electric brushes for many years - we just may like this better. Seems to do a much better job cleaning our teeth. I recommend this product.

Not quite as good a more expensive model
This is my third Oral-B electric toothbrush. I bought it in advance of need, as present deluxe Bluetooth model still working. Did not want to be without an electric toothbrush. The gimmick of the Bluetooth-equipped brush turned sour when, on first use, the mirror-mounted suction cell phone holder did not hold, allowing my $1K Samsung phone to crash into the basin, cracking the screen on the phone! THAT was the end of using this gimmicky system. That said, the brush itself has been and is fine. Had at least two years now.The new brush seems a little less robust and perhaps a bit less powerful than old brush. This is an impression. What I don't care for is the removal of the separate speed/mode switch on this newer model. I suspect that most users of the older brush eventually set it to high/continuous and forget about the mode settings altogether. On the new brush, there is only one multi-function button for on/off and mode/power control. As might be expected, timing is required to change to other than full-power mode AND to turn off the brush. I am in the habit of applying a small amount of fresh toothpaste for each of the four quadrants. The simple on/off button on old brush beats the need to press AND HOLD the new combo button to get unit to shut off. Plus, the new button is somehow harder to operate and has to be fiddled with to get the brush turned off instead of changing to (slower) mode. Another IMPRESSION is the new brush "slows down" during brushing. Recycling power does not change this impression.Okay, the old brush was perhaps 3 times the money of the new brush, so there is that.I would say the new brush is adequate for the money.UPDATE: This brush has definitely slowed down _during the brushing cycle_. I cannot recommend it. Go for a bit better (more expensive) model.

Excelente cepillo
