As far as containing soiled clothing goes, this device is amongst the best I have ever used.At no point has any item of clothing placed inside managed to escape, which is highly reassuring.The detachable bags or baskets that contain the clothing are easily detached, making it a simple task to transfer clothing to the washing machine.Once emptied, the detachable bags or baskets can be re-attached, again a simple manoeuvre.The bags or baskets sit patiently in the X frame, waiting to receive soiled clothing, their large openings making convenient targets for those who like to launch their soiled clothing across the room, basketball style.This laundry basket has completely changed my life. Since buying it I have received treatment for my diabetes, my cholesterol has been reduced by taking supplements, two hernias have been found in my groin and a growth has been discovered on one of my kidneys, which might have otherwise been missed, so I can receive treatment for those ailments too.Some might argue that all this could have happened with the purchase of the laundry hamper, but just because they happened at the same time is something I refuse to believe is just a coincidence.All praise to the healing powers of the Simplehuman Double X Frame Laundry Basket. It's a life saver.

Quality is goodThe only thing I don't like is the holding stick s comes off whenever I take the clothes out for washing.The balance of sticks is very mediocre and that's annoying after spending big amount for laundry hamper

I've given this 5 stars because it is extremely well made and very sturdy. It doesn't take up too much space in the bathroom and looks quite smart. The removable sacks are very easy to unhook and take straight to the washing machine. All the other laundry bins we had seen were either too small or were cheap and nasty, however, whilst the SimpleHuman Double X frame is very nice, it IS ridiculously pricey for something just to put your dirty laundry in!

I now have two of these which enable washing to be sorted ready for the machine. Very easy to lift bags off the frame to take downstairs when I am using my stairlift. Unlike another well known make there are no bags to slide down in the bin with the weight of the washing - or lids to fall into the bin.

The packaging looked good but as soon as I pulled it out of the box I saw that it was made out of very thin gauge, cheap metal. Upon setting it up l, you have to clip two plastic flaps into place. One went in fine, the other one had not been manufactured correctly. After 5 minutes of trying to get it to clip in it came off in my hand! Had to glue it back on. This product feels like it should cost £9.99 from a market, really wish I hadn't bought it to be honest.

Very well made and designed - as to be expected from Simple Human products!Would have much have preferred the canvas to be natural or ivory in colour- it's much too yellow for me!

looks the part, easy to put together, handy that the wash bags come away from the mine stand, so no need for a laundry basket. My only issue was it looked like it had been used.
