Azura PureView 1kb DNA Ladder 100 Lanes 500µl

Invisible at 5 ul load, need 25 ul and the post stain. Even then it's not strong. This was true of both their 100bp and 1kb ladders, so might be the fault of the Sybr safe stain purchased from edvotek...? very expensive on a teacher's budget to buy these molecular reagents and not have proper performance. Without more supplies I can't finish troubleshooting if the DNA stain is the problem or the concentration of DNA in the ladders is falsely advertised to be sufficient at 5 uls, I used approx. the same thickness gel as shown in their advertising image.
