Easy install and works great
Striped a gear on one of my JJRC c8808 and put an Injora motor and transmission in it. Decided to throw these in the original and installed it in a JJRC c8813 and really happy with how it turned out

Worth it if your into crawling,
The media could not be loaded. Easy to install, great improvement climbing rocks. works with stock transmission. Lots of torque, especially paired with traxxas brushless motor. Top speed is slower than a normal walking pace

They work and improve TRX4M slow crawling dramatically
The pinion was a bear to get on the motor. After I tapped mine on with a brass hammer (gunsmith tool) it was easy to put back together. Take a picture before you disassemble the transmission. After I was done I looked up to see how other people put the pinion on (there is no screw, it is held on by main force) and the smartest way was probably a guy who used a little vice. Others recommended placing the motor in the freezer and heating the pinion with a lighter before tapping it on.

TL;DR Only one run, so far so good. Running brushless Furitek.Update March 2025. Almost 2 years on these gears and still working great. Still highly recommend this if you want to rock crawl. Too slow for trail or general purpose driving, but a must have if you’re looking for more torque and slow speed crawling. I’ve had no issues out of these gears (or anything on my 4M for that matter)Update: April 2024, 1 year later still runs like the day I installed. I don’t drive it every day but at least a couple times per week. Would buy again.Original review:Installed in my Bronco running bearing kit and the Furitek brushless motor/esc. Gears dropped right in no fitment issues. There has been a clicking ever since installing the new motor but the plastic crawler gears from Traxxas also made a clicking. So I just run it. Worth noting though. These gears appear to be nicely machined. If you’re into rock crawling with your TRX4m, I’d suggest this as your first upgrade along with bearings second. Those two upgrades even on the stock motor and electronics make it a whole new truck. The torque of the stock motor is actually pretty good with the crawl gears. I bought these injora gears because I thought that I had stripped the plastic ones causing them to click when driving, turns out these click too. The quality of injora parts is excellent. I’m also running their brass differential covers front and rear. So far these are a 5 star all day. If anything happens, I’ll update my review.
