I was disappointed with this DVD. The main reason was because almost half of the DVD wasn't about Niki at all. It concentrated a fair bit on safety, and how things have improved over the years, which you could say was loosely related. I was hoping for a DVD about Niki, from his beginnings and right through his career. There was some of that, but for me personally not enough to warrant the title. There are some very good DVDs about dealing with safety, including the excellent 1: Life on the limit https://www.amazon.co.uk/1-Life-Limit-Paul-Crowder/dp/B00GDEZP70/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1495477834&sr=1-1&keywords=1 This DVD was ok, fairly informative with some good early footage. As for the 'untold' there really wasn't that much here that has not already been well documented previously in various formats. If you know absolutely nothing about one of the greatest, quickest drivers of all time, then sure give this a go. If you are already fairly familiar with Lauda, then this may be a little disappointing.

Dies ist eine tolle Dokumentation, in der verschiedene Rennfahrer und auch Niki Lauda selber zu Wort kommen. Die Geschichte bringt die Persönlichkeit Laudas sehr gut rüber. Empfehlenswert. Rush hingegen ist dagegen enttäuschend.

Per chi come me ha avuto la fortuna di vivere l'epoca d'oro della VERA F1, beh gli anni '70 sono stati davvero entusiasmanti, nella loro drammaticita'. Niki Lauda e' l'esempio piu' limpido di un uomo che si e' dedicato anima e corpo, rischiando la propria vita, arrivando fino alla soglia tra la vita e la morte, per questo sport. Un mito che non tramontera' mai, qui proposto attraverso immagini rarissime, davvero belle, interviste a grandissimi campioni, a tutto l'ambiente della F1 e di Lauda in particolare, con un occhio alla voce "sicurezza", che attraverso le tribolazioni e i sacrifici di Lauda, Stewart, Scheckter, Senna e tanti altri ha garantito che il tasso di mortalita' in F1 crollasse fino a (speriamo) zero.
