Wow, this is the esaiest way to install an outdoor lamp over vinyl siding, a perfect fit! Sells for a lot more in the big box stores and without the color choices found here. Great invention.

I found this mounting box well worth the price. The fit was satisfactory even though I’m using it on 5” lap siding instead of 4” like the product description say’s. The bottom of my siding does kick out 1/2” as the description says. I think all of the low ratings on this mounting box didn’t bother to read all of the information given before ordering.
