This inverter worked great for my ge profile they don’t sell the original part cause of its age ! But this helped bring back my ge profile to life !! Thank you !! Now I just hope it last a long time!! Thanks

This thing saved my refrigerator. I called a repair guy out, and he charged me more than the cost of this part to tell me to buy a new fridge. After he left I diagnosed the issue myself and found that the compressor control board was shot. So I ordered this and installed it myself. It was fairly easy.It's been running for six months now with no issues. I'm happy with the purchase.

We had a power surge or outage and my fridge stopped cooling.I deep cleaned the fan coils and fan blades. I took the fridge outside and hosed off all the dirt and dust . I took this part off the condenser and It smelled like burnt plastic or burnt electrical smell.I knew then to replace the part..A used fridge was well over $250 and this part was under $100!!!

Our 17 year old GE profile refrigerator stopped cooling. I could hear the compressor trying to start so diagnosing was easy. Bought this inverter and it was here the next day. Twenty minute install and the refrigerator is back to normal. I was dreading having to buy a crappy new fridge. Even new GE Profile’s are not nearly the same quality as our old one. Received it a day earlier than expected, I was glad about that. I put it in its place put the refrigerator back together, plug it in and my problem was solved. Easy as pie.
