Very well worked with my indoor plant soil mixing. It is hard to break as it is so suggest to soak in water for a few hours or overnight then it is easy to break. No extra stuff just pure coco coir.

These coco choir bricks are easy to use, light, compact, yet break apart easy for use. Great for starting seeds. They arrived early and in great condition.

Worked perfectly for my garden beds. I needed depth as they are 2.5 feet deep.

Great product. 3block will fill a standard bucket and it retains moisture very well. I combined it with topsoil to add a little punch during reseeding my lawn.

The moment you start hydrating these bricks, you notice the difference. The coir is finely milled yet airy, breaking apart quickly and uniformly without clumping. Each brick expands dramatically, yielding a generous amount of fluffy, ready-to-use medium. The "premium" designation is evident in the clean, consistent texture—there were virtually no large chunks, sticks, or foreign debris often found in lower-grade coir. The process of hydrating nine bricks was surprisingly efficient, resulting in a large batch of beautiful, dark brown substrate.

Love the convenience and size of the bricks. I can carry them where I need to in my garden. Just add tons of water to breakup and spread around. They store well so I have them when I need them for my house plants too. Seeds germinate very quickly which is great. If I forget to water and it dries out I just add more water and everything is fine.

This product does NOT absorb water very well. Normally coir absorbs water quickly and you can watch it expand in water but this coir doesn’t do that. It turns to a kind of mud. Even a little bit of water turns it to sludge. I do not recommend this item at all. Feels weird to leave a review of coco coir but here we are.
