Question length

read the measurements twice
So, this came yesterday and while it might be 1 pound of copper wire (haven't weighted it yet but am not actually so concerned with the overall weight), note that it says 8 Gauge/3.25mm. I measured with callipers at 3.25mm, which is 10 gauge, not 8. I was expecting 8 gauge proper (4.1mm) but I didn't pay enough attention to the discrepancy in the description so that one's on me. When I measured the length of the wire I received, it was about 21' (nice to have more than the 19.5' advertised). Also nice that it came wrapped in cling wrap to prevent oxidizing.Edit: Upon further research, maybe I just don't understand the gauge to mm conversion. Some charts for different materials list 8 gauge as 3.26mm, which would be pretty much right on for this. I might have judged too harshly? Anyway, the product is good. I'll up my start rating to 5 from 4.
