Killing Spree
Day 1: The Killing has commenced. I feel righteous and gleeful! My quiet has returned and eat without fear of them coming for my food, or swarming me with every step I take.Day 5: They don't come for the light to suicide at night, perhaps my house is too bright even with all my lights off? The street lights surely don't help meDay 7: The Killing Spree continues. My backhand has gotten better. When shall I be rid of these enemies to my quiet comfortable life? My count is in the low thousands, yet they continue to pester me. Have they not learned to keep away?Day 8: The plumber has finally come. Perhaps soon my life will be free of all this killing. It's taken its toll on me. Even with the extender stick, which is very helpful!, my arm is tired, and my back sore.******Okay enough fun... though seriously this is a little bit of fun. This device is marvelous! I got a gnat problem when my garbage disposal broke and leaked everywhere. I haven't been able to use my sink or dishwasher for a little bit more than 2 weeks now. I kept up with the dishes by using the bathroom sink, but these little bugs started crawling out of my pipes in the kitchen sink. Vinegar, sugar, and beer mix killed and trapped some of them, but mostly they were out of control.I bought this with the extender stick and some sticky pads, and this has worked the best... and given me great exercise at the same time! ^_^ I also feel like I can play tennis or racket ball better now! Silliness aside, I'd happily buy this again if I needed to and would recommend it to anyone who wants to relieve their tension by killing their tiny flying pests!I went on 2 killing sprees in 5 rooms before I had to charge the racket again, great life. Only a few hours on its own though. If I had a darker house it standing on its own might have actually worked, not sure.A few bugs have gotten caught in the screen, I wait till it's all the way discharged, turn it off, and clean them out with an extra keyboard brush I have.If it ever breaks, I'll be buying another one!

Works great, but LOUD when it goes off.
Very effective both in swatter and stand-attract modes. Pops bugs fast, with emphasis on 'pop'.Works best in attract mode when the whole house is dark, but don't leave this in attract mode in your bedroom. I was woken up more than once around 2am with a sizzle or BANG that made me think my laptop or A/C unit had just died. Nope, just a fly getting lured in and literally exploding.

Broke
Ended up breaking after barely any use. While on the charge kept making a snapping noise, and now won't work. Fun idea though!

Best ever
This was actually the best tool to actively fight gnats and fruit flies I've ever had. I tried all kind of solutions. Turnable net and extension make big difference. However, it is not perfect.Cons:1. Extension is loose, so I had to add a tape around the end of the handle for a grip.2. Blue light is way too dim to attract insects in a passive mode.3. After 1 year of use this zapper started to shoot/zapp at the base every 1-2 seconds while it is turned on. I assume that voltage controller doesn't have max limit control anymore, so the voltage increases until it is discharged via weakest spot between the two juxtaposed nets.

not worth the trade off
the swivel feature seems smart, and it comes in handy in bug-on-the-wall situations, but there is no retention mechanism to keep the swatter straight when swinging it other than two small plastic friction bumps. As a result, swinging the swatter causes it to swivel mid air and become less effective. Other than that, it's perfect. The hold-to-zap and always-on zap modes have their use cases. The usb-c port on the side is well placed and I'm glad they went with usb-c instead of micro usb. The stand is handy for leaving it on overnight for a troublesome bug in a room.

Great for Me, Terrible for Bugs
I kind of hate to admit how much I love this. I’ve had it almost a year and I ‘ve bought them as gifts for family and friends.Does it make me feel like a bloodthirsty ninja? Yes. Do I feel bad about that? Heck no! This is one of the cheapest forms of therapy available.Pros: Easy to use. Very effective once you perfect your aim. Increases my reach by more than a foot. Finally puts that college badminton course to good use.Con: If you use it inside and it’s a particularly zappy night, the smell of bug barbecue can be a little much to handle.

Best product I’ve bought all year
This product is excellent and stays charged for a very long time. It kills spiders, flys, and most small insects. Really happy with the extension stick to reach high places on walls or Ceiling. Great product that gets the job done. Wish I had bought it sooner!
